His left hand got burnt. Immediately, he was taken to the hospital. After an initial investigation, I discovered that he neglected safety rules. He forgot to wear a proper welding helmet and a pair of welding gloves to protect his eyes and hands from the sparks and heat generated from the welding machine. To prevent similar occurrences, I suggest our company should create a company handbook listing out all safety rules related to welding in the workplace.
