Most of the collected litter was recyclable like glass bottles and cans so we recycled them. In the end we only had 1 bag of rubbish left. They spent half an hour searching for rubbish and have made our local area a much better place by Taking Pride. Shout out to our parents who provided transport, Ric Balfour (Landcare Trust), Jo Buchan (Enviroschools Facilitator) and KNZB for the reusable bags and gloves. We will use them again and again!
