Coscolluela & Associates. The building was constructed in 2009 and was opened in 2012. The USGBC pre-certified building (at the LEED Gold Level) has a height of 160 meters consisting of 33 floors and houses 65,000 square meters of office space and 2000 square meters of retail space. The geometry of the site which is an intersection between Paseo de Roxas and Makati Avenue is what inspired the architects to plan the overall form of the building. The low-E fritting contributes to the exterior design and absorbs minimal solar gain while providing natural sunlight to the building. The overall exterior never fails to catch my attention as it literally stands out among the other buildings in the district. Of all the buildings I've admired, this by far is my favourite. I think the building is built to be simple but eye-catching. Moreover, I find the building beautiful because not only does it function as a building, but it also promotes sustainability.
