As there was a Christian persecution happening there (my family is Christian), they had to scape, because the most part of the people in Syria are Islamic and who were not were killed. One person told to his parents that they were a target. For this reason, they had to scape and they entered in a ship without knowing which was the destination country, only that was in America.
