Pong has been one of the earliest arcade video games ever. The game is based on very simple two-dimensional graphics and is an initial stage to other games like table tennis. The game draft was first invented by the Atari, a videogame industry, that existed back 45 years ago. Later it was evolved by Alan Alcorn which gave it the name Pong and manufactured branded and advertised it well at the marked, as a videogame.

Pong quickly became a world-famous game and it has been called the very first commercially successful game. Just after its release, several companies copied the gameplay of Pong. No sooner almost all videogame-companies had a version of the Pong and Alan Alcorn now had to make the features of their game way better than their competitors. Alan Alcon encouraged their staff to involve even more innovative games like Pong.

There have been sold more than 35000 Pong games, like the one below, since its invention back in 1972.

By going to the frontpage of Pong you will be met by a black square with white letters. You will have to choose between single player, two players, demo mode and to look at high scores for yourself and from people near by. If you press single player you will play against the computer, opposite if you press the two players button you will able to play against another, but still on your computer. Pressing demo mode, the computer will show you how the game is played and how to start, move and so on. You will also have the choice between using a mouse or the keyboard.

Gameplay and features:

The playing field is shaped as a square and all of the game takes place exactly there. Two paddles are moving vertically on the flank of the square and a ball is going up and down and side to side. The aim for the players is to make the ball hit the back of their opponent's line and avoid let the ball hit their. If your opponent doesn't manage and fail to return the ball you will receive a point.
You can play one on one, online and against the computer on different levels. The players use the arrow button to make the paddles move up and down. They are moving the paddles after the ball and try making the ball go fast and away from their opponent. When the paddle hits the ball, it will bounce and go to the opponent. The winning player is the first player to reach eleven points.

What works well and what doesn't:

I think that the best working part of the game and the feature that works well is the small moving ball. The further place on your paddle the ball hits, the ball will go faster and more diagonal.
If I could change one thing in the game it would be the highest score you can achieve. I would like playing forhours and hours in the same game instead of going from game to game for like 7583 times.

I would also like playing multiplayer and in a bigger square. And maybe instead of a square it could be played in different polygons.

I would prefer playing Pong above every other game because of its relevance. Who hasn't been in need of their Pong-playing skill? And because it is as simple that even I know how to play the game. I'll give it an 10/10 because I rarely have played game like that.
