My boyfriend's daughter learning how to play Minecraft with her older brother. At first, she would get really frustrated that she did not know how to play. She would give up. The more she tried and observed, she learned. Now its hard to get her off of the game.
2. The kids are in Taekwondo. At first, they were new and did not understand the movements required. They would get frustrated. Now they have already received the next belt and are working on their third belt. My boyfriend's daughter has been interested in learning to cook. Whenever given the opportunity, she always jumps in to try. She is 6! This kid helped me bake the most amazing from scratch chocolate chip cookies. After we cook, I always make sure she tastes as we go along and talk about what we could have done differently.
2. Going back to our house rehab projects currently underway at our house that I spoke briefly about under the Intentional tab. My boyfriend has been the most amazing person during this rehab. He has done countless hours of research, trial and error projects, and just took a chance. He has learned so much and is teaching me so much. I believe that most of my experiences will be about the kids. My boyfriend's kids will work together to come up with creative ideas on fun things to do. This past week, they entertained themselves by rolling around on the floor in their blankets pretending to be caterpillars. It was the funniest thing. 
2. Our son Richie was in Spotlight this past year and really enjoyed it. Outside of his own classroom, he really got to dive into collaborative group projects pertaining to coding and video game creations. They had a blast. In my other class, Teaching/Learning Elementary School, my teacher has given us an opportunity to learn from her own experiences as a teacher. You get to learn how to be a competent teacher, but with her giving us the experiences, we see the authenticity behind it.
2. With teaching, it is imperative to have clinical hours of student teaching and observation. I believe that is where the authenticity will come into play. One of my own personal experiences with goals was going back to school to become a teacher. If the pandemic taught me anything, it was that life is too short. I came back to school to pursue an intended goal of mine, which is becoming a teacher after 17 years in food and beverage. I got my associate degree first, now headed for my bachelors. 
2. We have had the goal for a while now to rehab our house. It is has two additions in previous years, but started out as a two bedroom 1930s dairy farm home.
