         <description><![CDATA[<div>These 3 games show the kind of art style i am aiming for in my game. A lot of the assets are either low-poly or the background may be a pre-rendered environment that they put in the background with certain constraints to the character creating the illusion of a 3D environment.<br><br>The Characters are quite clearly Low-Poly, and the textures are low resolution which is what gives these games the look of the old PS1 horror games. <br><br>I'll be able to recreate this look by creating Low-Poly objects/props and characters and then adding low resolution images as the textures which will really give it that old horror game look. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This game, called Lost In Vivo, was made quite recently. However, it was made to look like an old PS1 or PS2 game and you can tell that by the Low-Poly Objects and the low resolution textures. The only part of this game that doesn't look old, are the reflections because during the PS1 era they couldn't have real time reflections like many games today but otherwise this game looks like a PS1 game.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This game, called Lady Ice, is a great example of how much the Horror aspect can make a game good. This game was made for a Game Jam, which is an online competition to make games within a certain amount of time, and it's not a very big game but what makes it good is the atmosphere it creates. The aim of the game is to survive in a house for about 10 minutes, sounds simple right? But the way it's set out with the dark environment, scary sounds and the monster make the game so much better even with the lack of mechanics and small level. Hopefully, i can pull off that horror feel with an asset pack.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Other than the poles in the middle, i like the layout of this train. The chairs are quite simple and it's pretty much a basic train layout. The lighting of the photo adds this kind of scary atmosphere in my opinion which i'll hopefully be able to replicate in my game using my props.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I like this picture for 2 reasons, the lighting and the look of the train on the inside. The lighting infront/Behind the person makes the person look ominous as you can pretty much only see a shadow/outline of them. The lighting also creates dark areas around the train which makes it look scary <br><br>The state of the train also makes it scary and mysterious because you don't know what happened and with that person there it just creates this horror atmosphere that i really want to capture in my own work.</div>]]></description>

Maybe before the player hops on a train, they'll be able to see some pass by or see some trains that are stuck in place while lit up on the inside.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Lighting plays such a big part in creating an atmosphere, i won't be able to fiddle with lighting unless i create a 3d environment and that'll probably only be the inside of a train. If by some chance i have time to create an environment outside of the train like a subway or under-bridge area then i'll definitely create something like this. The train stopped in place with the doors open and the lines of lights on the walls just creates this amazing horror atmosphere.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The reason i picked this picture is mainly the layout and design of this train. I'm not a big fan of those poles in the middle of the train because in my game they would only slow the player down and force them to walk on either the right or left side of the train which i don't want.<br><br>The door you can see at the end of the train is what i like, if i had that in my game then that'd be a good way to transition levels and help me change things in the level without the player seeing the change happening.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>No Players Online is a Low-Poly, old PC style video game. The styles it's made in makes it look like you're playing one of the old FPS games. What makes this game scary is that style as the colours are very dull and that old retro style creates a creepy atmosphere. Just take out any kind of music and add random scary sounds and you have a scary game!&nbsp;<br><br>The way the textures are added are also very similar to the old PS1 games which just adds to the creepy factor.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Like many games of the time, Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare uses an environment system where the environment is made an image is rendered at a certain angle, the image is then used as a foreground to the game and using constraints it creates the illusion of an actual environment. That means that the effects and lighting are already pre-made on that foreground image rather than being actually cast by props in the environment or the characters. I won't use that system but i will hopefully use the Low-poly design that they used for the characters. The characters are then textured using a low resolution texture made for the characters.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>THERE ARE GHOSTS IN THESE STALLS is once again another example of how atmosphere can create a great horror game even without basic mechanics. This is a Low-Poly PS1 Style game so it's the same style that i'm aiming my game to be. You can't move in this game which if anything, adds to this game's scary factor. Scares happen randomly and the objective you have in this game is look at 4 symbols.<br><br>If i don't have a lot of time to put all my assets into my game then i might remove walking or even multiple mechanics<br><br></div>]]></description>
