This didn't just start because it happened in World War ll.

responding to conflict says a lot about us as the human race. we react to conflict in both positive and negative ways. different groups can cause conflict with each other and cause problems like discrimination with the other groups some people will respond violently to the conflict and try to join in if they feel strongly enough about the topic and others will try to avoid it completely. this says a lot about us because it shows us how we react during bad situations

From the study sync article conflict in communities one can infer that discrimination plays a big role in conflict. It stated that we will most likely give to our own race and people that are more like us. it can band us together but it can also tear us apart. we need both large and small groups as well.

It says that on Study Sync ¨Conflict in Communities¨ in paragraph one , ¨Groups of people who share similar interests and attitudes produce feelings of community.¨ So when the groups face conflict groups tend to either separate or come together. Its says this on Study Sync in paragraph three , "This tendency sometimes causes people to band together in the face of conflict. But at other times, it causes communities to break apart as people turn on an out group.¨ So overall, in the face of conflict we either stick together or separate into out group.

Conflicts are sometimes petty E.G. Who gets the last Jelly filled doughnut. But then there are conflicts that are completely justified such as, Should the US participate in any wars or military conflicts with other countries? Conflicts say that there is always someone who opposes your opinion no matter if everyone agrees with you. Conflicts essentially say that we are never in agreement with everyone and we all have different opinions depending on who we are and what we believe in, which makes us different from the common man(common man used in the reference of mankind). There are groups ranging small to LARGE, Religion to Science, Politics to Protest. These groups all have at least 1 thing in common...Disagreements with out-groups. We, the people, will fight for our opinion however we may, whether it be through violence or peace. The study sync says that there are several groups and other in and out-groups, as well as the fact that they always oppose each-other in several ways. (comments to add anything I missed)
