We successfully implemented 2 forms of PD to showcase not only our Brisk Teaching tool, but AI and other technology based solutions. The first was a basic introduction to the tech platforms we pay for as a district(Kami, Brisk, Edpuzzle and Swank) and the second was a PD 1/2 day with 16 sessions covering Discovery Education, Canva, Brisk, and Google Slides that teachers could choose to attend(4 sessions per teacher) throughout the afternoon. Our Elementary STEM teacher and Tech Integration coach attended MACUL last week to gain knowledge as well as our Superintendent and Tech Director attended to touch base with some of our vendors.

Our problem of practice is, "How can we as a district embrace AI and use it as a tool to foster teaching and learning?" We started by crating a presentation of three AI tools to present to our school board. We are scheduling time with out principals to present during staff meetings.

We have made a lot of progress! We already completed a PD session with our staff and given them Edge-U Badges time to work on micro-credentials for some of these tools.

We have provided a presentation to our board of education some of the benefits of AI as a classroom teacher. The time saving protentional is could provide to staff a small school. We are working together to create building level presentations by demonstrating some AI tools.
