UNICEF stands for United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. UNICEF was created to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated/ injured by World War II. It was created/ established on 11 December 1946 by the united nation to meet the emergency needs of Children in war (Europe and China).UNICEF works in about 190 countries and regions to protect every child’s rights. For 70 years, UNICEF has worked to improve the lives of Children and their families. Although there are unusual challenges around the world, UNICEF fight for the rights of every child having safe shelter, nutrition/ foods, protection from disasters and conflicts and equality.
