The giraffokeryx came after the canthumeryx and it lived around the Indian subcontinent 15-12 mya. It resembles an okapi which is a small giraffe. Also the giraffokeryx had features that the canthumeryx didn't have like four ossicones on its head; one pair in front of the eyes on the anterior aspect of the frontal bone and the other behind the eyes in the frontoparietal region overhanging the temporal fossae. These antler type features are skin covered bone which help them while they are fighting.

The Palaeotragus came in at a length of 4 meters and a height of 1-3 meters and it weighed in at 250 to 650kg. the Palaeotragus had similar features to today's giraffe because of the similar tail and the facial structure which is long and pointed. But there are some differences too the Palaeotragus had horns and it didn't have a long neck like today's giraffes.
