-I begins the trail day with helping out to layer out the fabrics onto the table .
- drawing out straight strips and cutting it out , then cut out the pattern from the mesh . My skills of cutting mesh was leant in here that we put the paper underneath the mesh before cutting and cut with the mesh .
- Cutting out the long socks pieces , gloves , dresses pieces , which these were all for the customers .
-Organising the fabrics rolls with dividing them into categories .

Trying to pin the edges, finishings of the samples to create the details of the garments with a flat silhouette.
I tried to create shapes, or volume of the garment by folding the sample, however as it is knitwear , so it is not easy to hold the shape .

- Iron the leather pleats, calico is needed to place on top of the leather to avoid burning the leather .

- Helping out with the pattern cutting , tracing , adding seam allowance , changing the pattern . While doing all these , I am training myself to do pattern as well .

-Layering out all the samples and taking photographs of them ready for the accessories designer to work on these . And afterward , get all the samples organised and well stored at the place .

-Taking photographs of the model wearing the toile , to observe together with the year 3 , Esther , discussed together where the garment need to change and go off to change the pattern of the trouser .

-Went to prototype to get the laser cutter to do the printing of the jeans, get to learn and bought back the memories of how to work with the laser cutting to do the prints on the denim sample to test out which pictures works well with the laser cut , what size of the image will be the best , which denim fabric works well with the laser cutter , as leading with different denim, the burned denim colour from the laser cut will be different .

Tracing off almost every trousers pattern blocks with seam allowances added and made changes on every block that needed correction .

- Placing the trouser block pattern on a big piece of denim and cutting out the trouser pattern block on denim , which is the final garment . It was a huge piece of denim , and as I was working on the floor whiling layering the pattern and cutting out the pattern on the floor and so it was slightly hard and tried for me to do the whole process , and as with the amount of pattern pieces that I need to lay out and cut it , it tooks me hours to get everything cut .
At the meantime , Esther taught me an skill that is so much important to the industry which is always cutting the pattern out with the pattern and scissors on my right hand side , which can make the blocks well cut.

- Spend the whole morning in Shepherd's Bush for the shirt fabric finding , getting the leather fabric back to the building and also getting some more white mesh .
Went to 4 to 5 fabrics stores looking for the most suitable and good quality blue cotton and polyester fabric for the shirt and get the swatches back to the building and choosing with the year 3 ,Esther on which fabric is the best for the collection .

- Tracing the top pattern out from a mesh top as to get the right and perfect top that we are cutting from mesh and is perfectly fitting to the model .

-Cutting out the mesh pattern block for Esther to sew the toile and and see where if we need to change the pattern for the block as we were worry with the stretch of the mesh with it is being wore . But we ended up no need to change anything .

The shirt was relatively so much easier than cutting the denim trouser block , as this time we were cutting another denim , which is different from the other one that did last week , this time , it was a thicker denim piece which is very hard to pin the block together with the folder 2 layer of fabric together . I got into trouble with pinning the pattern block and so do Esther , I got very frustrated with the pinning and I was bleeding with my fingers . We spent a quite lots of time of this and finally get the all the pieces cut out .

- Stayed in the prototyping for the rest of the 2 days working on the prints sample on the jeans pocket , I am now used to the process of the laser cutting and followed with all the pictures that Esther wanted , I tried all of them with 2 different denim fabric and see the outcome of these , some of the prints were slightly a little bit burned as I can tell from the colour , but the burned one was the thinner denim piece . I also tried to college the pictures from Esther and remake the images into another pictures and printed them onto the denim pieces .

- Heat pressed the reflective sliver tapes onto the denim pieces , I cut the reflective tape into different shapes and pieces and pressed them onto the denim fabric and used the laser cut to print the pictures onto it and see the effect of it , the reflective pieces went well with the prints and burned from the laser cut .
However I mistakenly heat pressed 2 pieces of the relectiver silver tape with the wrong side of the denim , but still the wrong made some interesting finding and a different looks from the right side .

- While I was waiting for Esther to get all the pictures that she want to do with the laser cut prints , I was trying to make the top design from look 1 on clo 3d with the idea that I gave Esther , which is the side open from both sides of the top .

- I then finished all the sample of the prints that Esther wanted to be on the pocket of the jeans and I finished all the prints of the pocket and finished up the week .

- Was good to hear about the project which get to known that the project is in between creativity and to become professional with digital fashion.
- Met the team another time during the week , and discussed on what we were interested in , we ended up coming out with the cloth size problems that African people facing whilst buying garments . And the dye process of the traditional tie dye of the Africa .
I gave out the ideas of making a snap chat or instagram filter of a garment that will be appearing onto the body when it photographing or filming on the phone with the filter and so the garment will perfectly fits onto the person body as the promotion digital service for the customers .

Year 3 internship :
- Hand sewing with the hoops on the jeans, I spent the whole day just seeing the hoops to the trousers, it was a lot and to sew without mistake, more concentrated is needed, everything time when I noticed that it is one stitching lin missing for the roop, I need to undo the stitching and do it all over again from where it was missing, it was so tired of doing the whole process as I spent a day and another day around 3 hours to get all the sewing of the details done. I haven't done much details design on these before , so to do these kind of details stitching is fun for me .

- Pressing the mesh and other fabrics .

- Cutting the mesh top out from the pattern to the mesh fabric, every time when I was cutting the mesh, I am more to like this kind of fabric, and so been thinking to exploring more on this fabric later on.

- Heat pressing the reflective to the back of the jean , I am quite interested to place another materials onto the fabric and stick it on top, it is something that I haven't done before . - Team project brief :
The team has came up with 2 problems and digital solutions of the digital outcome , however the time producing for all these solutions were long and with while experimenting the working solutions , time will allowed .

-After getting the feedback from the presentation , we narrow down the outcome .

Length and skills needed with the ideas , there were a lots of excellent ideas came out whilst discussions , however those need a long periods of experiment and high skills to produce

which isn’t working for a short time .

Difficulties :
Both the entrepreneurs do not understand what digital is and we spent time to explain to them , but still they are not too sure what that is and they were always thinking to do physical work and they were always changing the ideas .

My ideas were always not being used and taking out and so I am pretty pissed about this .

Year 3 internship :
- Cad Drawings of all 3 looks . I spent the days in uni and my spare time to get all the cads done , the most time consuming was the all the hoops details on the trouser , but I enjoyed the process of cad drawing . As I know that cad is one of the most important thing to the industry and so I am happy that I love the job .

- Going out to get the leather and mesh fabric .

- Cutting out the navy mesh . I think I am more getting used to the skill of mesh cutting , with having the paper underneath the mesh , pin them and cut with the paper together . And with the skill that Esther taught , I am now used and always in my mind that I need to cut farbic with the scissor on and fabric are all at the right hand side .

We had a meeting discussing on the changes of the outcome that we will be making and finally came up with our final brief.

-The entrepreneurs still not understanding the concept of digital and they want to do a physical thing like dying then make it to a video and let it be digital, which isn’t necessary but we will work it out to see what will be happening .

Year 3 Internship :
- Cutting out the mesh sleeves for look 1 , so to get both long sleeves .

- Was cutting the mesh top out for look 3 , however the marble mesh prints that wanted were not long enough to be cut and so I took the white plain mesh to the prototyping and to prints more of the marble prints onto the mesh top . And afterwards , getting it back to the building and cut the mesh top out .
While placing the pattern on top of the mesh , I tried to stretch the mesh with both directions to see which side is the stretchier and we ended up with both sides stretched the same and so placed the pattern and cut . It is very important that I will need to be careful with finding the stretchier side of the mesh while cutting as the stretch should be the more elastic part that allows the body to wear comfortably and avoid any unfits.

- Laser cutting to engrave the denim pieces , cut through the denim and make samples for the prints. I spent an afternoon and another morning on this. Time consumed while I was getting the pictures to be set as an image that can be processed with the laser cutter , as the pattern were not in black and white and an image before when I got the file, just is not the format for the laser cutter to be sensed and so I used a little bit of the time tired to make the pattern an image and trace it to the format that the laser cutter can work with . Then I tried to do the first sample and but I failed to make it what the designer wanted , as I got the cut off in the wrong positions .what she wanted is that the pattern were all engraved with some of the part from the pattern cutting out following with the pattern . To do this , I separated the engrave and cut off into 2 steps , and at the same time separate the image and cut off red lines into 2 layers , to engraving first I hide the red line layers away , then remain the sample denim pieces at the same place in the cutter after engrave , then unhides the red line layers and hide the image and do the second steps to cut off the parts , however I got the wrong placing with the redline pattern which is the cut . And so to do it right and make servals sample with these , I made more sample with cutting on different sides of the denim , different shapes of the reflectives so to have more designs choices for the designer to choose the best .
I think the ways that I do to test out the sample with doing more versions with different positions and fabric surface and a good practice that can produce more options for designing and sometime unexpected cool things came out from this .

Our team finally came up with the final theme and ideas of the outcome that we will be producing for the project .
- Quicker pattern making process digitally

- Digital avatar with designs inspired from the African traditional garment design. (Film and Campaign )

-At the moment, me and the digital creators were waiting for the entrepreneurs to give us illustrations of designs so we can process to the next steps .

-I don't like any of the designs inspiration that the entrepreneur has said , but it is kind of good to try something I am not interested .

- The entrepreneurs has finally came up with some designs ideas , prints that could be on the garment that is creating .

-Summed up the whole topic and finding of our project .

Year 3 Internship :
- Went to London Trimmings to get the hoops , sliver rings ,roll of rope and the zips .

-Then went to the charity shops at Lewisham the same day to get pairs of old trainers with different colours , materials textures and surface .

-Went to Dalston to get shoes from traid and candles that needed for making the shoes .

-Made the bag for the collections by draping with safety pins and coverup the whole bag .
-I pretty like the drap that I did for the bag .

London Fashion Week :
- Getting my models to dress the 3 looks effectively .

- It was challenging to me in the beginning because all the looks that I have got have a lots of buttoning and braiding , which makes me a bit nervous . But I made it at the end with having all the looks ready and look good on the model before she went .

-It was hard for the final look with dealing the fingers tieing with the accessories for the final look, we finised all the accessories with just having one person lining in front of the model , it was scary but we are so grateful to make it perfectly before she goes .

- I enjoyed the day and it is a very good experience that let me want to join more !
