1. In my clasroom, I would prefer using combination of the three.
I use coursebooks because they can be used to provide practice in listening for specific language skills, such as pronunciation, intonation, and stress. They can be adaptable as well.
I use authentic listening materials because I want my students to be exposed to different accents as well. They provide students with a realistic view of how the language is actually used.
I use other sources because they can learn about other cultures and perspectives.
2. Determining problems and providing some solutions to them was inspiring. Having a framework for listening activities and having some ideas on how to change the tasks will be very useful during my lessons.
Examples and explanations on how to give instructions were also enlightening, as we saw ourselves through the eyes of our students.

1. I think the most relavent problem in my area is that the students don't want to speak English in the classroom even if they know the language. It is because sometimes they are shy, sometimes they aren't motivated enough.

2. Providing the key vocabulary before the speaking activity would be very useful for my classes. Also, using flip to record themselves at their homes and getting positive from their peers would be a great idea. Not only this would increase their motivation, but also they will be more confident to speak as they can record themselves as much as they want and publish the "perfect" one.

Before reading: the teacher shows a short animated video about hobbies to get the ss' interests.
The whole class will make a Mindmap with the word "hobbies".
And then, the teacher will show them the pics in the text and ask them what they think about them.

While-reading: the teacher takes the highlighted words out of the text before giving them the text. They will put the right words into the correct places.
After answering true/false questions on the book, the ss will write their own questions and answer them (what else do they want to know?). If there is an answer to their questions, they answer the questions. If not, they can research and answer them later. At this point, the teacher may group the students and they can answer each other's questions.

After-reading: the ss will make write about their hobbies and make a video about them. They will upload the videos to Flip and they will watch each other's videos and comment on them.

Generally teaching reading is not as problematic as other skills. For me, the main problem in English classes is lack of interest. I think this is true for most of my colleagues. In order to solve that, planning pre-reading tasks well would be a good idea. Showing the students a short and fun video might catch their interest and they may be more motivated to engage in the lesson.
Secondly, Jigsaw reading activity is a good activity for long passages as well. It saves time, it creates an opportunity to practice speaking and also it promotes collaboration. English Language Teachers may find it useful.

1. In my city, using Padlets as a group for process writing and getting positive feedback from peers is a great idea. I think I will use this in my classes. The students will write as a group and write the comments at home. Since the groups will use only one phone, it will be easier to monitor them.

2. In my PDC meetings, other teachers would definitely like the "Postie Postie" activity. It requires no technology, it is different, it is encouraging and personalized. The students will like the idea and have fun.

I liked the circle game in which learners stand in a circle and move around. This would be useful especially in my PDCs as a warm-up or ice-breaker. It is fun and gets people moving. I can also use it in my small classes.

I really loved online interactive games. With games, students don't get bored and they don't feel like they are studying. This is why I am always interested in new online game web-sites since they love technology and games so much. I heard Quizlet before but had never used it. Today I got a chance to try it and found out that it was quite fun and effective. I have never heard of Quizziz before. It was enlightening to find out different web-tools.
