         <title>How plants are adapted to their biome</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hairy stems keep the plants warm (pasque flower).<br>Plants grow close to the ground and grow close together helping them against the cold weather.&nbsp;<br>The few trees (dwarf shrubs) that the tundra have are very small which reduces damage that is caused by the high winds snow also acts as an insulator to the trees and helps them maintain warmth during the winter.<br>Plants go dormant or are inactive during the winter months to with stand the cold and conserve energy, you could say its kindve there way of hibernating. (sedges, dwarf shrubs, mosses)</div>]]></description>
