I just attended a webinar hosted through Brandman University. (A few summers ago, I took a graduate course with this university, an online school that works in conjunction with the Bureau of Education and Research--BER). I have posted some notes I took during the webinar, in which we discussed general tips and strategies for online instruction. You will find the notes attached to this document. I found it particularly interesting how the speaker talked about working with the students to create a set of rules/expectations for how to exhibit appropriate online etiquette or "netiquette," as this was something that never occurred to me.
