Specifically, I think Chetty's perspective on the American Dream is kind of bland, so-to-speak. One of the policies is moving people to better environments by giving them house vouchers, but it proves that child exposure is the key to doing better as an adult later on, meaning this policy would be helpful to families with those under thirteen years old.  Another policy is to better the environment that needs to be worked on, which can inspire kids to make the world better. With these factors, race is one of the biggest things we could counter in, but the outcomes differ in certain areas of the world. It is proven that African-Americans tend to have less investment in their environment compared to others, while it is also proven that African-Americans have lower levels of upward mobility. Why does this happen?
