Onboarding online with Mr. Bazlan Bakar, my supervisor, to view and familiarize myself with the company's internal workflow and content. I also have a foundation of understanding of the company's corporate culture, the work dress code requirements, and everything the employee code has to offer.

My supervisor took me to the MDH@Events2025 program: 2025 Cradle Grants and Initiatives. The symposium was hosted by the MYStartup Association, which provides local entrepreneurs, many of whom are new to the business world, with an overview of how they screen companies and help them with funding.

Many participants were emerging entrepreneurs from various fields and asked different questions during the panel. After the seminar, the entrepreneurs also had a chance to meet and talk to each other to understand the business basics between different companies. I learned a lot from the seminar and was introduced to this financing association.

As an administrative intern, I participated in the internal Leadership Weekly Meeting and prepared for the following weekly internal meetings. The supervisor explained the administrative job tasks and labelled the process, including answering emails, searching for information, and scheduling company meetings.

Mr. Rashid, the manager of the technology software management department, explained to me today about the main products and technology platforms that Reyhut has launched. He also explained the process of using the products, how to operate the software platform and the pricing of the products. After the meeting, I better understood the hardware and software sold by the company.

The supervisor gave me access to the company's internal documents on Google Drive. These documents contain the forms responsible for each department, customer information, employee information, and product inventory records.

This trust was further extended as I was given the responsibility of taking over the purchasing records of miscellaneous items, such as the company's purchasing expenses for work supplies. I was also entrusted with the responsibility of collecting receipts and transferring funds for the company's purchases as proof of documentation.

Taking over the internal claiming project as one of the administrative work and creating a list to record the claiming expenses of internal staff at work or on business trips in the future. Corresponding transfer records or receipts should also be collected as documentary proof so that there will be corresponding documents to provide evidence to support when filing accounts in the future.

As one of the assigned tasks, I debriefed CEO Sir Bazlan about the grants that were found to be offered by different government agencies, as well as the amount and the conditions of the application. Sir Bazlan also pointed out some of the programs that could be applied for by the company and instructed the job to create an account on the corresponding government website and share the corresponding information file on the company's internal Google Drive.

Today, my supervisor, Mr. Bazlan, gave me the SOPs for filling out the employees' pay slips and making the payments to the employees. I followed the steps of filling out the company's employees' pay slips for March, confirming the amount of money transferred to the group, and documenting it on the company's list of payment items after the fact.

Research for the company on the scoring criteria for its products to participate in the Ignyte Competition, the required documents, and the solution to be prepared for the scoring process, and submit the appropriate forms to the CEO, Mr. Bazlan.

Today, learn how to perform the act of paying off utility bills through the TNB app and Indah Water app. This work item is set to be paid off at the beginning of each month, and I will take over. I also need to send the payment receipts to the workgroup for notification and record them in the expense item for record keeping.

Today, I followed my supervisor, Mr Bazlan, to a nearby cafe for an office visit and debriefed him on what work items I had learned last week, what I had researched, and what I had organized and sequenced for my upcoming to-do list.

Mr Bazlan said that the next administrative work will slow down and that I am being considered for a new study in the marketing or sales department, which will be based on my work progress.

Today, my supervisor gave me the company account number, taught me how to pay KWSP and SOSCO for all employees and employers, and listed the steps involved. After making the payment, I followed the SOP to forward the information to the workgroup, sent the employees' pay slips one by one in PDF format, and notified them in their private emails.

This morning, I participated in an onboarding meeting with Mr Bazlan, my supervisor, to introduce the platform to the client, explain the process of operating the platform, and talk about some of the related functions. New GenVCM is an investment company based in Negeri Sembilan and is interested in investing in our company. The director of New GenVCM has issued a list of company documents that we need to prepare and submit to them. My supervisor sent me to help organize and prepare the documents and to lead me through the filing project.

Today, CEO Sir Bazlan taught me about writing articles posted on the company's social accounts, article fetching, and instructions related to directing an AI program to write articles. Related to this is the observation of different article topics posted by peers or other international similar media.

This was a new exposure for me and involved a lot of marketing strategy and lead generation skills. Therefore, the main focus was observing customer needs and developing articles on customer preferences.

Today, I will explore AI-generated movie platforms for the company's promotional videos, which are expected to be posted on social media platforms like TikTok. After exploring them, I will present my insights and suggestions to our supervisors on comparing different AI platforms. After trying different AI sites to create movies, I felt that Creatify AI was the easiest to use in my experience so far, so I recommended it to my boss.

Today, Mr. Rashid from Marketing took me to an online panel on enhancing brand marketing. It included tips on improving your brand recognition and some tips and strategies for live streaming on social platforms. I also learned a lot and was able to prepare myself for my next step in the marketing department.

Today, Mr Bazlan walked me through making payments to operators. Some tourists make bookings and payments through our official platforms, such as Booking.com. The traveller sends the payment first to the platform and then from the platform to the B&B or hotel. After listening to the SOP, I processed three payments to the same operator and sent them the transfer records.

Rashid from the Marketing Research department shared a video with me today about using Chat GPT to give instructions on creating URLs, which will give me more knowledge to work with companies and products or platforms in the future in the Marketing Management department.

This will give me more knowledge to work in the marketing department of the company and the product or platform service in the future. And plan a more competitive marketing strategy.

Today, Mr. Bazlan taught me how to give the invoice creation manual to the customer after discussing the order and setting up the related SOP in the file. This includes requesting personal information, company information, and business location. After determining the payment amount and purchase information, the document is sent to the customer in PDF format.

These are the things that the sales department is responsible for, and I play the role of sales supporter.

After an invoice has been created and sent, the customer usually presses for the purchase details or adds other purchases. I was in charge of the inquiry service and changed the content and price of the invoice. In this process, I acquired the skills and techniques of the sales department in dealing with customers.

Daily tasks such as publishing and writing company articles and posting articles continued as usual.

Today, I helped hold an internal engineering meeting on platform development functionality within the company. The meeting's content mainly focused on explaining the platform's current development progress, features under development, and newly released platform features. Haneen, the engineering department manager, also discussed many technical issues of the platform. I was also there to advise on using some of the newly released features.

Mr Bazlan sent me the official website of Pernas today and asked me to research the programs offered by the company, which is an official partner of the Ministry of Finance. The company offers courses for Franchise professors, Franchise application programs, and certifications, as well as help for small and medium-sized companies in development and real estate management. Mr. Bazlan gave me the task of listing the top developer groups in the country in a table so that I could look for opportunities for business negotiations and future investment. I browsed through the websites of each of the top developers in the country, collected and consolidated the information in a table, and listed the hospitality businesses owned by the companies.

Today, Mr Azam, Head of Marketing, requested that I add information about De Rantau Hub to the published article. Upon researching the project, I found that it is a collaboration between Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and local hospitality companies. The technical services department has been transferred to the new commercial department, which now oversees the company's sales and marketing operations. Under Mr Azam's capable leadership, a meeting was held to explain the staff's roles. I am pleased to take on the responsibility of writing and publishing company articles, as well as billing customers.

Today, Mr Bazlan taught me how to post job openings and content on Indeed. He also guided me on candidate screening, job interviews, and other communications. Understanding salary ranges and internship allowances for different jobs, I now feel confident and prepared to take on the next HR project of hiring different interns.

Since candidates have an academic background in computer science, this interview was assigned to CTO Miss Haneen. The interviewer, hailing from India, presented a slide of self-introduction and his knowledge and interest in the job position.

During the Q&A session, Miss Haneen asked many technical engineering questions to verify the candidate's ability to cope with a similar degree. The interview concluded on a positive note, and the candidate was asked to await further news, leaving us optimistic about the potential hire.

Today, Mr Azam from the Commercial Team led me to take over the entry process of consolidating customer data recorded from three platforms into one. These are customers who decided to fill out the form to learn about the platform's products because they saw advertisements on various platforms. I must follow up with the commercial team on the progress of different customers so I can write them up on the platform.

As we are well into the new work month, I executed all employee payrolls and payments today, proactively sending follow-up email notifications. I recalculated all the payrolls to ensure they were correct and presented them to my supervisor, Mr. Bazlan, for review. Next week, I will start doing the payment process for KWSP, SOSCO, utilities, and miscellaneous items.

Today was equally busy after last Friday, paying various fees, requesting payments, and sending proof of payment transfer records into folders. All the expenses, such as internship allowance mail, must be recorded in the company's expense record. There are more than 10-20 transfers in total. The rest of the work, which significantly impacts our financial health, must be submitted to Mr Bazlan today to follow up on last week's delayed payments.

Due to delays in the previous two weeks of meetings, we need to catch up for the third week in a row. The meeting was held for three hours on a regular basis. I had the important responsibility of leading the accounting and finance part of the meeting, making presentations and suggestions, as well as following up and answering questions in the HR and corporate departments.

The company information was obtained from the notification file, while other information, such as the company's fundraising and financial status, was requested from Mr. Bazlan, CEO. Then, I followed up and reported to the workgroup.

Today's focus was on administrative tasks, including rescheduling meetings, answering emails, recording expenditures and handling operator transfers.

The HR department handled projects, including Indeed candidate reporting and reminding TalentLabs to conduct recruitment content.

All work was also reported to Mr Bazlan today, with additional reminders about financial documentation needs and some documentation requirements for the commercial department.

Today, the sales department made significant progress, with the active involvement of management, on the list of customers who filled out the form. The process involved reviewing the list, noting the customers assigned to me, and then reaching out for information via WhatsApp or phone. Any responses from customers were then recorded in the customer list.

An email was sent today requesting that the person in charge follow up on this program. The person in charge of the program then called to explain the eligibility criteria and will give further documents to fill out and apply for the program. Only interns with a monthly stipend of RM500 are eligible to apply, and only one of our two interns has met this requirement to proceed further with the application process.

After posting the internship job on Indeed, 7-8 candidates came to apply and submitted their resume. I debriefed Mr Azam on the resume, and he selected the candidate. Then, I contacted the designated candidates on the platform to inquire about and arrange an interview.

Today, the commercial department had an internal meeting about introducing the new Reyhut AI platform. We discussed its features, suggested improvements, and added undeveloped features to the to-do list. We also had a basic introduction and discussion with other peers to understand how to use the platform in negotiating with customers.

This morning the Commercial department had a how-to with Afiqah from Engineering on how to operate the OTA mapping process on the platform. Afiqah also said that there will be a video on how to operate the platform, and in the future, there will be a separate online meeting for teaching when new booking platforms are added for OTA sync.

This morning, all the heads and staff of the commercial department participated in an online meeting session with the candidates from MMU. Mr Azam asked many questions about the content creator position, such as relevant creative experience and how to do online marketing. Afterwards, the internal department discussed and decided to accept the interviewee.

Today, Mr Azam sent all the expenses he incurred in Kelantan while working for the operator on the development project, including receipts for meals, car fuel, some tools, etc. I recorded all the expenses in the claim record and uploaded the receipts as documentary proof.

Today, the sales consultant, Mr Edwan, worked with the commercial team on pricing and price adjustments and discussed with them to create a price brochure for the customers to understand; he also gave Rashid and me sales skills training and telemarketing training with feedback, etc. I improved my sales skills and will continue in the upcoming sessions.

Today, I am mainly working on the acceptance letter for internal candidates who have decided to be accepted and sending emails to them. Other departments also discussed adding interns from Nazmi and Song, who completed their internships in June and July, to the remaining positions to take over the program.

This afternoon, a customer came to our office to learn more about the platform's functions and processes. The engineering and commercial departments worked together to implement the online platform operation process and provided relative answers and solutions to the questions raised by the customer. Internal staff also familiarized themselves with the platform's operation in advance and suggested areas for improvement, which were resolved promptly.

Sales consultant Mr Edwan sent us a product presentation from a competitor company, Softinn. I have understood the information and studied the content of the slide. Then, I compared the company's products and listed the differences, the advantages of the other company's products and the advantages of our products. Today, I researched the product information on the official websites of our competitors, Hostplatform, Softinn and Abs Software and wrote down their product styles and features in my notebook. After that, we compared our company's products and wrote down the features they have and haven't developed yet. These notes will be brought to the sales consultant meeting next week.

Today, I had a product introduction meeting with the company's sales team on Zoom, which talked about the platform's OTA features, manual booking, housekeeping management, and financial reports. She also discussed the company's unique additional insurance and consulting services for owner-host contracts. These services are not available in our company, but they may provide some inspiration for the future promotion of the product platform.

A while ago, Mr Bazlan asked me to fill in the form as an application; I filled in the form according to my existing information and waited for my supervisor to give me the information about the company's income as an answer to the questionnaire. After I got the reply, I filled out all the information and submitted it, and then I completed the job application program.

Today, I was responsible for revising and writing content about my recruitment efforts for the next candidate to take over my role. After finalising the job description, I submitted it to Indeed. In our commitment to finding the best candidates, we simultaneously opened other positions, such as the app development intern, to fill Nazmi's role.

This afternoon, sales consultant Mr Edwan gave me a closing sales session with Rashid. The session covered the closing sales process, observing customer reactions and response techniques to questions. He also gave us a homework assignment to prepare a slide and present it next week to test our skills.

Today, I attended a small pitch event for startups at the Dash Hotel with colleagues. There were 24 groups of startups presenting their directions and ideas. I was able to meet many companies that I have never seen before, such as a company that manages patient data in the medical field, a company that monitors the activities of older adults in nursing homes through AI, and other companies that monitor and analyze data in the fishing industry through AI, such as a company in the agriculture field that feeds animals. There are also many other AI companies and platform companies in the real estate management industry. All of them made connections and expanded their networks.

I screened all the candidates' resumes today and reported them to Mr Azam and Miss Haneen, the heads of the commercial and engineering departments, respectively. Some candidates have already been scheduled for interviews next week. This afternoon, I quickly called Mr. Bazlan about creating an offer letter for a designated candidate. He shared the link to the previous template with me and asked me to contact the people involved in the program for details and information about the salary and start date.

Based on previous K-youth program documents, I have developed and revised the employment letter and employee contract for Afiq Zamir for the Junior System Analyst position. We have also prepared the documents for Talents Labs to admit the candidate. All the documents have been uploaded to the group for review and approval.

Today, I was responsible for scheduling and coordinating the interviews with different interviewees and reminding the CEO, Mr Bazlan, to participate and conduct the interviews. Then, the CTO of Engineering, Miss Haneen, also selected another candidate to write a preferred interview and asked me to coordinate with the interviewer.

I drafted the offer letter for the new Executive Internship and revised some of the details of the letter today in anticipation of accepting the internship. It was then submitted to Mr. Bazlan, the CEO, for review.

After preparing the slide, Mr Edwan asked me to give a presentation today. Mr Edwan gave me a lot of advice on how to set up a slide program and how to present it. I have greatly benefited from this, and I am very thankful to him for his support and guidance.

Today, I need to submit the relevant door cards and log out of the relevant work emails and software. After this was done, all the laptops and stationery I had brought with me were organized, and the other candidates I had contacted through WhatsApp had been handed over to them.
