I learned in science how to make a shadow clock and how it works. I learned how we first figured out what time it is and how they found out.the clock was first invented by the Egyptians.

I learned how time was created and about the first clock. I learned about the sun and shadows. they chose 12 because of finger segments. the clock goes to 12 then changes because of that. before time we would just do stuff by what day it was. the end. BY JACE

In science today I learned that the first clock was called a sundile, I learned that the sun has to be facing the opposite side of the of the plate in the experiment for the correct time is revealed.

I learned that the sun can tell what time it is as well as a clock and that they chose 12 because you count your finger segments with your thumb and you have 12 of them. I also learned that I have an amazing science teacher that understands me well. ;)

I learned that ancients like (greek, eygiptian, ext) used sun dials to tell the time using shadows. I also learned that the eygiptians thought to use 24 hours in a day. (I also learned that they used their finger segments to count(very clever!)

The first clock was made by the Egyptians. They used a shadow clock as the first clock.They used a sundial and the shadow's of the sun. I learned why they picked 24 hours.That is all I learned today in Ms. Algreen's class.
