Evidence of a Revolution in Thought- Many different innovations were great evidence of a revolution in thought.

Scientific ventures, Trade Innovations, Architectural Innovations, Art Innovations, and Writing Innovations are the most crucial innovations. Writing innovations are one of the best evidence of a revolution in thought. Books and paper were all important innovations that were made due to the lack of communication. Also, these were made to track ideas which helped make more ideas. Causes For Revolution in Thought: Europe - Europe had many famous innovators who always started Revolutions in Thought due to ideas that questioned religion (which forced these people to stop their work with the threat of death) and pushed to solve un answer things about are universe. Also, these innovators created many important inventions. Galileo was once a famous scientist who helped start many revolutions in thought with his ability to question things and bring attention to things that needed to be solved which caused a revolution in thought. One example is, he wanted to prove Copernicus's claim about plants orbiting the sun, so he innovated the telescope which helped him get a better understanding of Copernicus's claim. Also with the telescope, he was able to find many other things about our universe causing a revolution in thoughts. (Galileo)

Sustaining a Revolution in Thought: Europe- As highlighted above, famous innovators like Galileo helped start and sustain revolutions with their need to answer questions. There need to answer questions, helped push innovators to invent things that might help, or solve questions. This will sustain a revolution until the question is answered, by that time, many things will be invented and solved. This applies to Galileo by his invention of the telescope. Causes for Revolution in Thought- In the Islamic Empire, revolutions in thought were mostly caused by innovation. When these innovations were spread across the empire, other innovators could build/ modify the innovation or expand on the topic on which the innovation was included in, leading to more innovation, and causing a revolution in thought. Ideas led to the topic, or problem being spread across the empire, pushing others to invent things that would help solve and clarify it. A great example is the idea of trade and how it started many revolutions in thought due to its power to help spread ideas to every corner of the empire. Trading helped demonstrate innovations and elaborate on the problem they were trying to solve [which is the reason they made the innovation]. This led to many revolutions in thought because spreading ideas helped bring notice to a certain topic which resulted in numerous innovations being constructed. (Overbye)

As stated in prior columns, Innovations cause innovators to make more innovations for numerous reasons. As for the Song Dynasty, this invention of gun power led to many other important inventions, or in other words, sustained this revolution. Since gun power was created, they could create bombs and their most famous, rocket launchers. This led to an immense advantage in war, forcing other groups to create innovations that could match or seize rocket launchers. This revolution in thought lasted a while due to the many struggles to find new inventions. Song Dynasty had many Revolutions in Thought that were caused and sustained by new inventions. Europe has numerous types of inventions that were caused by a revolution in thought. One major example is the invention of eye glasses. Eye glasses were invented due to the fact some struggled with there vision. Some eye glasses were invented to help, the person so eye sight become more clear so things like reading became easier. Eye glasses are a great example because people were struggling to see so they needed a change. This caused a revolution in thought which resulted in making a device in which helps with eye sight. Causes for Revolution in Thought: -The Song dynasty represented a period of busy economic development, particularly in manufacturing and commerce. But they had problems with a powerful neighbor, the Mongolians. The Mongolians forcefully took land and valuables from the Song Dynasty. The Song Dynasty had to do something fast or invent something that would help them defeat the Mongolians. This forced them into a revolution in thought in which they made gunpowder-lit flamethrowers, soft shell bombs, hard shell iron bombs, fire lances, and possibly early cannons known as "eruptors".
