The first nation was 'Gojoseon' which means 'old Joseon'. <br><br>Gojoseon --&gt; Sam-guk ( Silla, Baekje and Goguryeo--&gt; Later Sam-guk (Silla, Later Goguryeo and Later Baekje) --&gt; Goryeo --&gt; Joseon --&gt; Great Korean Empire (Daehan Jeguk) --&gt; Period of Japanese Occupation  --&gt; South Korea and North Korea. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

It is the only divided nation of the world.&nbsp;<br>Korean heritages is recognized from the world, and UNESCO designate several Korean heritages as World Cultural heritages;&nbsp; Seokguram, Bulguksa, Jonmyo, Tripitaka Koreana at Haeisa Temple, Hwaseong, Changdeokgung, Gyoungju Historic Areas, Domen Sites.<br>Kpop and kdrama are also loved by people around the world and specially 'PSY' released song called 'Gangnam style' which is the most viewed youtube music&amp;video in the world.&nbsp;<br>Also 'Descendant of the Sun' which is kdrama was really famous in Asian countries. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Silla Kingdom (B.C.57~A.D.935)<br><br>Silla was located in the southeastern part of the Korean peninsula. In its early days, Silla was the weakest of three kingdoms in existence, but later became powerful enough to unify them under its rule in 676. After unification, Silla traded vigorously with foreign countries. General Jangbogo established Cheonghaejin on Wando Island and swept the pirates from the seas and led the overseas trade of East Asia Sea.<br><br>Goguryeo Kingdom (B.C.37~A.D.668)<br><br>Goguryeo covered large parts of present-day Manchuria. The country was not only the most powerful and most aggressive kingdom of three kingdoms in existence (Baekje and Silla being the other two) but also the most powerful in Northeast Asia in the 5th century. King Gwanggaeto the Great (375-413), in particular, conquered the largest territory in the entire history of Korea.<br><br>Baekje Kingdom (B.C.18~A.D.660)<br><br>Baekje was located in the southwestern part of the Korean peninsula and was one of the most advanced nations at that time. Baekje had the closest communication with neighboring Japan and exerted great influence on various fields of Japanese culture, sending many craftsmen, artisans, tailors, tile makers, and scholars to that country.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the fall of Goguryeo, a man from Goguryeo, Dae Joyeong, formed an army of the Goguryeo and Malgal (a Tungusic tribe) people, and settled eventually near Jilin in Manchuria, and there founded Balhae. Balhae declared itself the successor to Goguryeo and soon regained control of most of the former Goguryeo territory. The ruling class of Balhae consisted mostly of Goguryeo people.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;The Korean meal consist of rice, soup, and side dishes. Koreans use spoon and chopsticks at meals. Koreans always have 'Kimchi' which is the most loved and well-known traditional side-dish in Korea. Many people are attracted by Kimchi&nbsp;<br><br>There is a really tasty Korean traditional drink, which is called 'Sujeonggwa', it is made out of cinnamon and especially Arab people loves it.&nbsp;<br><br>Korean celebrates new years day and it is called 'Seolnal'. We usually eat 'Ddeokguk' and if we eat it, it means we are one year older.&nbsp;<br><br>We also have our traditional ceremony which is called 'Charae' and it is a rites for our ancestors.&nbsp;<br><br>Korean traditional game is called 'Yunnori' and we play this in 'Chuseok' or 'Seolnal'.
