They started reading the map and finally figuered out it was a treasure hunt, they followed the map but it only lead them to sum clues. They followed the clues but it only lead them a another map, but it was a map of another island, so they went to the island just to find other people are also looking for the gold just like them. An image was posted online back in 2009 which featured an unnaturally tall pale faceless man depicted in a suit more images of it were uploaded and they depicted him having tentacles that came out from his back usually nearby trees and children. The internet decided to give it a name called Slenderman as the name suggest it's a clear calling to its malelike structure, but unnaturally tall look people connected and said that supposedly the Slenderman abducts children and takes them into the forest where they're never to be seen again. Of course, though the Slenderman isn't real as it was an image posted for an internet meme and others used it as a way to scare kids online but even then, some people still believed that the Slenderman existed leading him to soon be identified as a Creepypasta which were stories that were fake but usually had images tied to them which made people believe them or think that they're real but the uncertainty is what makes it the unnerving part. There was a group of college students camping one night in a forest about 20 minutes away from the city. the night was going good as they ate marshmallows over the fire. Then, one of them heard a howl like a dog continued by a growl by a lion. he got up to check and walked about 60 feet and saw a 9 foot tall creature with yellow eyes, an ear to ear grin, and hairy elbows. it grabbed him and by the time he returned he was different. he kept saying "gogglus." "gogglus."everyone else packed and left and as they looked back to see the kid one last time, he was staring at the car not alone, but with a set of yellow eyes next to him chanting "Gogglus, Gogglus". To this day, no one has been to that forest in fear of the gogglus.

The tale of the little mermaid contains the widowed sea king in which he has 6 daughters. When a mermaid turns 15 they're allowed to swim to the surface for a glimpse, when all 6 become of age they're allowed to visit to upper world one at a time for a year. When the youngest mermaid becomes of age to view the surface she sees a ship in which has the prince of the land of the above having a celebration. Longing to want to be apart of the land above the little mermaid visits the sea witch, agrees to give her a potion and tells her she will never be able to return to the sea. As well as the warning of every step she takes she's in massive amounts of pain, and she cannot use her voice. The mermaid must successfully marry the prince to gain a human soul herself though if not then she will turn into sea foam. Long story short the prince was in an arranged marriage and doesn't marry the little mermaid, leaving her heart broken. Her sisters rise from the ocean giving her a dagger they exchanged for their hair to kill the prince to become a mermaid once again, yet the little mermaid couldn't bring herself to do it. Instead she throws herself off a ship dissolving into sea foam.
