Summary:
I read from page fifty to page one hundred. In these fifty pages Hazel meets Hecate and Hecate informs her that she can control the mist, and will need to use the mist to save her friends. Then Annabeth and Percy finally land in Tartarus but everything in the land is trying to kill them. For example, the air is sulfur, and the sand is broken glass. This is where Percy and Annabeth start making their journey across Tartarus.

Percy Jackson- Son of Poseidon, one of main characters.

Annabeth Chase-  Daughter of Athene, one of the main character, dating Percy.

Hazel Levesque- Daughter of Pluto, one of the main characters, dating Frank.
Frank Zhang- Son of Mars, one of the main characters.
Leo Valdez- Son of Haphaestus, on of the main characters.
Piper McLean- Daughter of Aphrodite.
Coach Hedge- A satyr that watches over the seven.

Commentary:
My favorite round character is Percy Jackson. For starters he can control water. For example, in the text The House of Hades "At the last second, Percy yelled defiantly. The water erupted in a massive geyser and swallowed them whole"(Riordan 63). Percy Jackson in a protagonist and he is a leader. He has been leading his crew since the first book.
