Absolutely adored the conference thus far!

The talks were so interesting and inspiring and it was particularly refreshing to be somewhere you could be transparent, honest and open!

Thanks everyone for making the chat section such an active and engaging space. I sometimes find online events quite isolating and get to thinking I could have just watched a recording. The chats have made it feel a lot more 'present'

Huuuuge thank you to Darren for the quick thinking on Tuesday to present his talk when there was a mix up with the speaker. Hugely enjoyed the talk, and made it possible to attend Jessica Swaringen and Lee Bareford's talk on gender inclusive language.

What a wonderful conference experience! Thank you to the organizers for making this such an effortless process, both as a presenter and attendee. I'm already considering ways to implement what I've learned into my practice, and I know that the recordings of sessions that I missed will yield even more insights to ponder and apply. And three cheers for affordable, accessible virtual conferences - what a joy!

What an incredible conference! Darren and Michelle - what you have pulled off is beyond inspiring. You brought community together, you made presenters feel heard and taken care of, and you were respectful of people's time and attendee interaction and support. Truly one of the best conferences I have ever been a part of. And the speakers were so amazing! I learned a lot and can't wait to learn even more with the recordings. Thank you all! I really loved the sessions I was able to attend and I look forward to seeing the recordings once they're up. I really appreciated getting to engage with critical librarianship with folks outside of my usual milieu -- both geographically and in terms of professional specialization

Really loved the first CALC I've been to, and I will absolutely be coming to the next one! Some excellent talks, but I particularly loved Meg and Christine's ones (probably because I'm a fat neurodivergent librarian!). Conferences always re-energise me, and this was no exception. Thanks lots to everyone who participated, organised, and presented!!!

This conference broke me in the best possible way. So many ideas, interests, passions, so much engagement and interaction, the chats were so wonderful, the talks engaging, the speakers were all fabulous. There was so much content that my brain turned into an absolute puddle of mush by the end! I have come down with a bump into the real world and need to spend a looooong time thinking about everything I learnt so that I can be a champion of critical librarianship in my own work. I also need to watch all the videos of the talks I had to miss!! Once again massively huge thanks to the organisers and the speakers, but also to everyone who shared links, who contributed in the chat, and generally just reminded me that there are people out there who care about things as much as I do.

Just as with the previous edition, I've 'gone home' with so many good vibes, made up of inspiring reflections, literature to read, online resources to visit & recommend... and most of all that sense of there existing (and belonging to) a community of like-minded librarians 'out there'. Thanks so much Darren and Michelle for your wonderful job! And to everyone for sharing their insights and experience and knowledge. We are great people, fellow librarians!
