Thank you, GoGlobal for this amazing experience and online meeting with a volunteer from Norway (I know that he was born in Portugal). I liked our meetings with Jorge because heis very friendly, funny and positive. We were talking about interesting topics, like food, traveling, customs and traditions of different countries, etc. We demonstrated our presentations, played games and just had fun. I liked practicing my english skills and I know I'm good at it.

I loved those meetings so far.

Melica was a very sweet and fascinating person to talk to. We went through all the topics we wanted and discussed lots of different things about our cultures and their differences. It was a very great experience to have and I'm impatiently waiting for our next meeting!

We were speaking about travelling, food, traditions and other topics. We showed our presentations, played games. It was very intresting and very helpful for everyone, and I actually had fun on this meetings. We practiced our English skills and spoke with a nice person. Sometimes it is a little bit nervously or difficult, but I like it.

I always used to be afraid of talking to people because of my weak grammar, but the Speaking Club was a wonderful opportunity to overcome that! Our speaker, Rinae, was very open-minded and kind — she listened to us carefully and always gave helpful feedback. I really hope events like this will be held more often in the future!

Lately I have been blessed with an opportunity to attend a 4-week training course organised by the highly reputable establishment GoGlobal. Attending my classes in the Chernihiv Lyceum number 1, I was invited to this meeting by my English teacher. The volunteer Paul, who is also a native speaker from Canada, turned out to be a truly laid-back and easy-going man with whom we could share our in-depth knowledge of Ukraine. Paul Hughes, in turn, gave some precious information and fascinating facts about his own homeland. Throughout the whole course we have explored and later found the bond between Canada and Ukraine. Not only did we discuss the diversity of Ukrainian diaspora, which is present in Canada, but also touched upon other peculiarities. All in all, I am grateful indeed for taking part in such an insightful meeting and for GoGlobal, the organisation which made it possible.
