I was excited about our 4th quarter’s lessons as it will all be about biology, and for the first week, we’re studying the digestive system. I though to myself that if I ever wanted to become a doctor (Which is like, one of numerous dreams i have), this will be a step forward for me towards that dream.  In addition, I’m also curious about all of this and how us humans needed this to live. When I was in elementary, Of course we already have tackled digestive and other systems too, and learning this again broadens my knowledge and it makes me want to learn it more. It’s weird and I think about how our organs operates a lot. Even if I don’t become a surgeon or a doctor, I would still be grateful about this lesson as it brought me fun and interest.

The cell cycle and its reproduction were the topic of the second week. The cells spend the majority of their time in the interphase process, which includes the G1, S, and G2 phases. The nuclear membrane begins to break down in Prophase, and the chromosomes begin to line up in Metaphase. The centromere divides while the chromatids are in opposite directions during Anaphase. The spindle fibers begin to dissolve during Telophase, followed by cytokinesis, in which the cytoplasm of the cells has already divided into two. Apoptosis is the death of a cell that has been programmed. necessitates two nuclear divisions, resulting in four haploid cells, whereas Mitosis necessitates just one nuclear division, resulting in two diploid cells. This lecture was my favorite, maybe because I understood it easily and also got to teach some of my friends. It’s kinda weird to think about what this whole lesson is about, as it makes me question my whole existence.  Some may say that genetics is difficult but in my view, it’s not. In addition, It was really interesting thing to learn. I had fun taking the tests and doing the learning packet, while helping my friends. It was really funny to see them freaking out in the call because they didn’t understand a thing, but I’m glad that I got to help them.

The 4th and 5th week was the most memorable. It was the time that me and my friends thought that it will be the last week that we will have a learning packet- which is a lie of course. Biodiversity was a long topic so it took our teacher 2 weeks to finish. Discussing 6 different kingdoms is kinda difficult since science is our first subject and my mind is not really awake that time. But everytime that I dong get a thing, I’ll just ask a friend and if she knows it, then she’ll explain it to me and vice versa, or I’ll just browse our ppt and look up what I dont understand. It felt like I already know this lesson like before, but not all. I can’t really remember how Im familiar with this but yea. Ecosystem is a very important lesson. It can benefit us humans and other organisms in ways that many of us don’t notice. This lesson is interesting because as humans, we are a part of the ecosystem and must cohabit with other living things. Meaning that we’re included in this lesson. These last weeks have proven to us students that science is a really significant thing in our lives. Even if I didn’t perfected everything, I can still remember the things that I’ve learned this school year and it really helped me understanding life. Science, everything about it is beneficial and can broaden your knowledge about specific things you question and you would find yourself lost in that something and will keep thinking about it. There are a lot of activities but I managed to get through it. The lessons wasn't That hard and is easy to understand, unlike some topics in the previous quarters. Anyway, it felt like a racing car passing by my eyes, so fast I didn't get to react, FOR REAL. Generally speaking, the first and second quarter felt like slowmotion, while the third and fourth was like I'm in a 2x speed in time. So yeah! It's just sad that our synchronus classes are really serious and lacks the "tawanan", but I know that science is a major subject and there are a lot of things to discuss so there's no time for those things. I'll be missing ma'am Yutuc and my classmates in the next school year, but I wouldn't be missing school of course hehe. Thank you ma'am for being such a great teacher, by great, I meant in every way. You are great in understanding, great in explaining, great in speaking, listening, and many more. You helped me and my fellow classmates in our subject and even in ways not all teachers do.
