some good things about social media are that you can share stuff with the world, make friends from another part of the world, for example, I made a friend in England and Australia! :D for some people it could be like an escape from the outside world, to calm down and relax! 
some bad things about social media is that there are people like P\\dophiles swimming around, hackers, scammers. People who are trying to hurt others. Such as for example " The Blue Whale Challenge", this challenge is where someone by the name "Jonathan Galindo" Will message people (many people have the name-) they make them do a series of challenges that leads up to 50 days.
