Parvana feels confident about having to cut her hair because in the text it states, “Out on the street, she kept waiting for people to point at her and call her a fake. No one did. No one paid any attention to her at all. The more she was ignored, the more confident she felt”. This tells me that since Parvana's disguise as a boy worked, she gained confidence from this experience.

Parvana feels sad because in the text it states "It won't work she said I don't want to look like a boy I have long hair" this explains how Parvana is sad because she doesn't want to cut her hair beacuse she has long hair. Tania Ather
