Someone of this age would enjoy being made up. Most elderly like having to look young and nice. Having make up applied to them can make them look younger, prettier and also keeping up with the trend of the youngsters. This could make them feel nostalgic, they would forget they were ever old and remember the good old days.

Q2. Firstly, young people can volunteer to help out in the elderly care centre.They can plan some games and activities to interact with them such as Bingo. In a Values-In-Action program, our class decided to visit an elderly care centre for two days. On the first day, we donated some basic necessities and help to clean up some parts of the elderly care centre to give them a cleaner and better environment. On the second day, we played some games with the elderly and performed for them. Secondly, they can also teach them how to use phone applications and computer by having young volunteers to conduct a course to teach the elderly.

Q3. I agree to a certain extent. An ageing population may be a problem to our society as it may affect the human capital of the country. As technology is encroaching most of our workforce, we need people who are able to adapt to these changes and develop  new skills such as being IT savvy and able to communicate their ideas through software. The elderly may not be able to adapt to these changes, or may not have time to develop such skills. The youth however are more active and energetic, hence they are more efficient to sustain our economy

However, they still benefit our community. Unlike having the capability to think out of the box, the elderly have more wisdom and experience as they learn from their mistakes from the past.
