    Discuss with students the idea of watching and being "present" within the moment they are in. Discuss how sometimes it is helpful to listen to music/sounds, create a tactile experience, or pay close attention to something that is happening. You can utilize the Lava Lamp Activity and have students sit in mindful bodies to watch. The room should also remain silent. Take each step slowly so students can practice this. Once you are done the activity discuss how they felt they did with staying in the moment. Encourage students to carry this practice over to their daily life.
