Nesquik began as a product distributed by its parent company, Nestlé. Nesquik was first introduced in 1948, originally named Nestlé Quik, the chocolate milk powder was sold for a quick and easy way to make chocolate milk. In the 1950’s, Nesquik was gaining popularity and produced commercials with jingles that kids memorized. In the same decade, they introduced strawberry milk powder and is still produced today. In the 1970’s Nesquik’s signature bunny had his debut in a cartoon commercial. In the 1980’s Nesquik finally started producing chocolate milk that was pre-mixed and pre-bottled, and chocolate syrup is available to American homes too. In the 1990’s, Nestlé’s Quik was changed to the current name, Nesquik.

A solution to the problem of plastic breaking down into small pieces is a magnet. A magnet only used to pick up plastic can be created by making plastic attracted to the magnet with charges. All substances can be magnetic, so we can make plastic magnetic too by charging the water with electricity.
