I also agree with the statement on discouraging copycats and attempts to "out-viral" other bullying videos as this will undermine actual serious bullying cases.

I agree with the quote “society must be careful not to normalise such behaviours unintentionally.” that was said by Mr Chan. If bullying is continued to be normalised even if it’s not on purpose, it can encourage students to be a bully since such behaviours are normalised.

I agree with the Minister of Education when he said that “students who witness bullying incidents are reminded not to record and share the incidents online to avoid further hurting those involved.”. This because students should instead try to help out in the situation and not just be a passerby that records these students who are still minors and spreading their cruel actions online.

Additionally, I agree with the Minister of Education when he said “Everyone should also exercise care in responding to viral videos”. This is because the people viewing these videos should not be doing anything extreme such as posting harsh comments on these posts as it may cause even more problems and issues.

I agree as finding information on the perpetrators would make it harder for them to mend their ways and repent their actions due to the fact they would face criticism even though they need help to turn over a new leaf. Also, it could remind the victims of what had happened even if they wanted to forget it. Leaving a larger scar on them.

I agree as schools have taught students how to resolve disagreements respectfully and stand up against bullying through CCE lessons. Students learn how to respond to different scenarios from small arguments to physical confrontations as part of the CCE curriculum. This as helped with enabling students to possess the necessary skills to tackle disagreements.

I agree as I believe that schools have put in effort in teaching students the proper ways of resolving disagreements in school as during Character First lessons, students will be taught by their form teachers the way to resolve disagreements by creating a scenario for students to see both parties’ perspective and to discuss how to resolve the conflict.

As a student, I do agree that schools have taught the students the proper skills to settle disagreements as it is often reminded by them and there are certain lessons that revolve around it such as in CF lessons which teaches us the ways and including values such as empathy into it.

I agree that teachers and councillors provides emotional support to students affected by bullying as adults have more perspectives to incidents like this so they can give better advice and help as compared to friends or classmates.

I agree that when a child has bullied someone, parents can guide their child to learn from mistakes. I agree cus we are still young and we all made mistakes. But it is through stuff like this, we learn from our mistakes and we fear to let it happen again.

Schools can try more hands on simulations. By showing students consequences bullying first-hand, they will be less likely to bully their peers and will be knowledgeable when the need to help a bullying victim occurs.

i agree that the Minister of Education said that when. someone witnesses a bullying they don’t do anything. The could say “i was too scared of the bully as i may be the next target” as an excuse even though it could be because they might be seen as “uncool” by the bully. Another thing i agree with is the questioning of whether teachers are trained to be able to handle the situation well enough. Some teachers when they witness a bullying they don’t say anything as they think it’s a joke.
