Then, have students crumple the paper up into a ball and throw paper towards the front of the room and have them each go and pick a different "snowball" and begin throwing snowballs at each other.
After about a minute of a snowball fight, have students pick a snowball that is closest to them or randomly. Make a model and give students paper. Students get 10 minutes to try to make a replica of the model.
 Students can look  at the model but not touch.

Track the language students use.... fixed mindset or growth...

This leads into a great discussion about growth mindset and thinking outside the box.

I then give them a single playing card with a match somewhere in the room.
