They assembled a themed jigsaw game with an eTwinning poster (characters and symbols) on their smartboards, laptops and tablets. This engaging activity not only marked the special day, but also encouraged collaboration, problem-solving and digital skills.

During this interactive experience, the children developed:

– teamwork and communication,

– basic ICT skills using a variety of digital devices.

The eTwinning celebration helped children feel part of the wider European community in a meaningful and enjoyable way through playful learning.

In March, children participated in creative activities related to the eTwinning project “Mathematics with Nature” task. Using different types of leaves, they created works of art – animals, houses and characters. These works were later combined into an interactive digital book, which tells a nature-inspired story with original characters. The book was created in both Lithuanian and English. As part of our eTwinning project’s April activity, children participated in an interactive math activity using the Web 2.0 tool LearningApps.org.

I created a digital game where children had to count pine or fir cones and correctly match their number to the number cards presented on the smart board.

This interactive activity promoted active learning through technology and helped develop:

– mathematical skills (counting, number recognition, quantity matching),

– logical thinking and visual perception,

– fine motor skills and coordination,

– digital skills as children navigate and interact with educational content on a touchscreen.

The use of Web 2.0 tools such as LearningApps brings innovation to preschool education and makes learning meaningful and enjoyable.
