I was born on December 31, 1986 in Cartago- Valle but, I grew up in Pereira instead, where I did my primary studies and attended secondary school. Those years were the best of my life, since I shared it with my parents and my brother, before being in the military.

An accident

In 1997 My brother and I had an accident on a horse, when we were crossing a mountain we fell and my brother was injured, then my father took him to the hospital and it was necessary to treat him. This event made me very sad because I always think it was my fault, that's why I don't like riding horses.

High school finish

In 2003 I finished high school, it was a very happy event to finish a stage, but also sad to leave my friends.

My career

I joined the Colombian air force on January 15, 2004, in the City of Bogotá. It has been 20 years of hard work but very rewarding. Even today I think I would do it again.

This was June 8th 2013, when my daughter was born, her name is Juanita and she lives outside the country, that day on my life changed completely because she gave me a lot of happiness.

In 2015, my brother achieved his university degree, it was a special moment for my parents, my brother and I, because we have been very close.

A sad day

Due to the plans of my daughter's mother, they decided to settle outside the country. Which is why my daughter traveled and currently lives in the United States. That day was very sad for me, even though I knew it was to improve her future.

Since 2021 I became a crew member of a Legacy 600 aircraft. This made me feel proud because it was necessary to study and I also worked very hard to achieve it.

The trip

Without a doubt the best trip of my life was to Africa in September 2023, when I went to Narobi - Kenya, because I was able to go on a safari and get to know this culture. I felt really excited even though it was very short, only 4 days
