THIS SONG FITS BECAUSE The song is about facing challenges and proving yourself, just like Steve is trying to do in court. He constantly is trying to prove that he is a good person and that he was not part of this terrible "mistake" but because of the law and who he was hanging around with, he is in some serious trouble.

I picked the scene where Steve's dad was talking with him and that he would imagine the scenes about his life.

I think this song fits because the dad was talking about the son and he told him that back in the day when he went to Morehouse he didn't make the football team and he would imagine Steve on the team.

This song fits because they are both in jail and they want to be free. They are both behind bars and people around them accuse them of being guilty and they aren't able to be free.

The artist uses metaphors to show what it feels like being trapped and not being able to be free and in the book "Monster" it shows how Steve is not able to get out of jail and he is trapped just like el raton vaquero.

This song fits this scene because the song is talking about loosing something that has been with you and made you happy tough out your life and once you loose it that makes you feel alone.

I pick the scene where Steve is in the court room and tells Steve am not scared of you am scared of the police the judge but you don't scare me.

The song sound fits because in the movie home alone Kevin is alone and he goes outside and yelling ''Am not afraid anymore''

And in the book Steve says that he's not afraid of King anymore that he's scared of the police and judge.

The scene I picked was on page 69 where Steve's dad is crying and Steve is watching him cry while questioning himself why he made his dad cry, and how he hates to see his dad in that state.

A quote I have from the book is "Iv'e never seen my father cry before. He wasn't crying like I thought A man would cry. Everything was just pouring out of him, and I hated to see his face" (page 69).

A quote I have from the song is

This quote of the book fits with the quote of the song because he's here saying how he's never seen his dad cry and how he doesn't really like seeing him crying or wants to see him in that type of state. Then the quote of the song is about someone seeing them and they don't want them to be seen like that.
