The first band that got me into heavy music was Slipknot, I discovered them through YouTube and they instantly caught my eye with there image of masks and jumpsuits. the song I first heard was psychosocial and I instantly liked it because of the catchy riffs and cool solos but the thing that I liked the most was the groovy drums. this made me get a drum kit and teach myself to play.

I started to discover more bands that I like in metal such as Metallica, cradle of filth, iron maiden and system of a down.

the heavy riffs and aggressive style of playing is what makes me makes me enjoy that style of music. its also the unique sound that every band has compared to other genres that stop it from being boring.

a few years later of listening to more music I noticed the creative control of guitar playing and found interest in starting to play guitar. guitarist such as Slash, Mick Thomson and Kirk Hammet made me want to start playing so in 2022 I borrowed my uncles les Paul for a year and began learning easy song by bands like Green Day, limp Bizkit and the Beatles.

after playing the guitar for 3 years and drums for 6 I knew that I wanted to have a job in the music industry whether that's playing in a band on stage, studio work or even teaching. knowing this i decided to learn music in school and college to boost my chance.

when growing up I was surrounded with music being played such as Aerosmith, guns n roses and pink Floyd. I always had an interest to this music and enjoyed listen to it with my family.
