    For this reason, the elimination of poverty is the number one objective of the 2030 agenda planned in 2015 in the United Nations Organization by several global leaders.
    Many of the consequences of poverty are actually causes of the same which creates the cycle of poverty.
    Some of the reasons are:
           - Hunger;
           - Low lifespan;
           - Diseases;
           - Lack of job opportunities;
           - Increased violence and political instability;
           - Emmigration;
           - Homeless people;
           - Economic Depression.
    Scientific research indicate that poberty can have such a negative impact on the human health and/or in diseases like Obesity, Alcoolism and Hypertension.

We can say that hunger and poverty are interconnected, one being the cause or consequence of the other, but always placing the affected individuals in a cycle of misery that is difficult to overcome.
The populations most vulnerable to this problem are:
- Children up to 5 years;
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women;
- Poor populations living in developing countries.
