I drink coffee every day. Environment:
Most coffee is grown on plantations in Central America, growers cut down the rainforest trees and use pesticides on the plants which harms animals, especially birds. The beans are shipped a long way before they get to me, using a lot of fossil fuels which causes air pollution and climate change. I make the coffee at home so I don't drive to get it every day or use a paper cup, which would make more waste.
Society:
My students have discovered that some plantations use children to pick the beans, so workers are being harmed.
Economy:
I don't think I would want to work on a coffee plantation or as a barrista!

Going for a drive is for most people an everyday task. What some forget to realize is the amount of co2 it releases into the atmosphere. The effects of the use of automobiles in todays age is seriously a leading factor in climate change and global warming. This activity is not sustainable and if people continue using cars it will have a serious effect on the future of this planet.

Yesterday I rode my bike to the basketball courts.
Environment:
Riding my bike to get from place to place can help the enviornment. Bicycles don't need gasoline so nothing harmful is being released in to the air. Gasoline is something that contributes to air pollution, so something as simple as riding a bike can be helping the environment.
Society:
Bike riding also helps with society. Studies show that riding a bike can make you happier! Also, riding a bike is very good activity and can even be an exercise.
Economy:
Riding bikes is also very helpful for economy. By riding a bike, people and cities can save money on parking.
You also don't have to worry about paying money for gas or any other repairs.

This activity can be sustainable if we make better decisions with transportation.

I recycle almost every day and it is very helpful for the environment. Recycling does not damage plants but to get the paper that is bad for the environment, for its cutting down trees. But recycling by itself is good. Recycling is a good way to help stop pollution but also to get the paper you are cutting down trees, making our air not as fresh. This actually help reuse resources. Recycling paper does help the economy and creates jobs for people in the recycling jobs. Recycling makes peoples quality of life better and it is sustainable.

Drawing would be something you think isn't harmless but it actually does more harm than good. Drawing on paper uses more resources than it produces, you have the paper, which is from all the trees you cut down, then you have the pencil, which is more wood. On top of that you have the eraser, which is made out of rubber, rubber makes pollutants, and with all of the erasers being made, it therefore causes more pollution. Then what happens when you mess up, you have to go through this whole process again.

I take about 16-20 minute showers. I could probably take shorter showers.

I have to keep in mind that not all people in the society can take showers, so I can't take it for granted.

People take showers to clean themselves so I would say showering is pretty helpful.
