The maps depict the developments which took place in the outskirts of the town of Fosbury between 1980 and 2015.

In general, there were a number of notable changes to the residential, commercial, and industrial area.

In 1980, there was a park on the left hand side of the map, but during the next 35 years, the park was moved to the empty space next to it. This relocation make way for the terraced houses, which was also made a relocation, from the top right corner to the left hand side of the map. Furthermore, the block of flats which was to the left of the terraced houses in 1980 was knocked down after 35 years.

Another major change to the area in 2015 was the development of more commercial and industrial features. The demolition of the grocer’s shop didn’t seem to affect much to the commerce of this area because of the construction of the supermarket in 2015. On the industrial side, in the empty field on the bottom left corner, warehouses were opened up for storages.

Another point to make is that the extension of the two tennis courts which transformed into the sports centre. Also ,the grocery store was upgraded into the supermarket located opposite the car park which was a replacement for the terraced houses.

Although various developments, the hotel remained to be the same in the two periods of time .

The two pictures demonstrate a general look of the urban area about the evolutions that took place in the coastal town of Fosbury in the 35-year period, between 1980 and 2015 accurately.

Overall, within much evidence, the noticeable changes were the infrastructures. Moreover, there were some newly converted accommodations as a way of modernizing the suburbs, for instance the development of various orbits: residential, commercial, traffic and industrial.

In the year 1980, the town had only straight roads with simple left and right turns at the end of them. At the top of the map, to the west we can see the residential site, where houses and hotel remained at the same positions after 35 years. However, the park had been relocated to the north west of the roundabout and the previous land became an individual area. Furthermore, the center of the town, which consisted of a block of flats, grocer's shop and a piece of land next to the park were remarkable changes: demolished and expanded to erect the new one roundabout and added some small roads in 2015. Another amenities to notice for us are the two tennis courts, which were renovated into a sports center and car park.

With some remaining infrastructure in the south of town, the grocer's shop has not disappeared completely, instead, it is made better as a supermarket, revealed face to face with a large car park, which is a conversion of terraced houses. In addition, the fields were knocked down to construct industrial warehouses. What's more, the special highlight is that the map is increasingly minimalist, expanding space and developing more traffic.

The maps depict the modernization of Fosbury’s town in 1980 and its next 35 years.

Overall, there was a range of changes in the appearance and replacement of buildings.

In the year 1980, this town had many empty spaces with a huge number of green trees, but it had been converted into industrial factors. Particularly, the giant area of fields located in the south-east corner of the picture had been turned into a warehouse. Opposite this situation was the sports center and its car park next to the place that used to be the tennis courts in the past. Moreover, the highway had been enlarged in order to lead to these features. Further development was the construction of the roundabout in the middle of this map, allowing better traffic in infrastructure.

Another major change in the area is the removal of residential and commercial areas. Terraced houses situated in the up-right of this map had been knocked down to make way for the supermarket, which has its car park behind. In 2015, new accommodations were built in the western part of Fosbury’s town, which is next to the park, was an unused land in the past. Additionally, the grocer’s shop and block of flats are no longer exist in front of the hotel. The houses in this map’s top-left corner is the only one that still remained stable from 1980 to 2015.

Nowadays, having a high income when choosing a job has been a trend in people that are finding for works. Good salary will always impress all of us, however, I believe that although money is necessary but it is not the only thing that we take into consideration when choosing a job.

On the one hand, I agree that money is necessary because it helps us everything in life. For instance, it improves our working quality. When people are satisfied with the amount of money they earn, then salary plays an important role like our motivator at work. It does not just help people to have motivation but a big amount of money may let people be able to improve some other skills, to get some essential degrees that their desired jobs require. However, getting a high salary may be connected with other consequences.

Nevertheless, I believe that other considerations are as important as than what we earn in our jobs. Only consider money may lead us to work in toxic working environments where people are willing to do anything to get money. In addition, people may accidentally choose an unhealthy occupation that is against the law. Next, with money as people’s motivation, it can turn into pressure everytime and people can’t even realise that. You will work with fear and anxiety of being reduced the salary and you will have no more happiness, and enjoyment in work. Finally, some bad colleagues will be envious with your salary and it is easy for you to be in danger as a result of the problem that other colleagues always want your position.

On the whole, salaries affect people’s choice of profession significantly but through the consequences that are given above, it is clear that money does not outweigh other motivators.

There is an argument that the most crucial aspect of deciding on a career path is to have a high income. While financial stability is undeniably important, other factors such as job satisfaction, a healthy working environment is also a key player in the decision making department.

On the one hand, I agree with having a job that gives people enough money to support their basic needs. For example, needing to pay off their housing, bills, healthcare and education. All most everyone, wants a salary that at least can allow them to put food on the table each day. If they were to choose a profession off of interest only like for instance, artists and musicians who are known to to do so usually fail to provide for themselves and their family to live comfortably.

On the other hand, I believe that other considerations are as equally essential as that of their earnings. One of it being their own enjoyment at work, as they easily find a mundane job that pays well but is completely boring. Furthermore, this could lead to a bad performance during work as they find no feelings of happiness. In addition, having a healthy work environment is also vital to a career choice. For example, having a caring manager or friendly colleagues could make a huge difference to a worker's levels of happiness and quality of life in general. If not, it could create a toxic work place which could slowly diminish the workers' health.

In conclusion, having a job that pays well certainly affects people's choice of career, but personally I think that there are other considerations that outweigh money.

writing task 2 unit 4

Employees tend to select jobs based on the number of salary. Even though the size of the income is one of the most crucial influences on choosing career, I still strongly believe that there are many factors equally affecting on it.

On the one hand, the high amount of money earned from people’s job can provide satisfactory daily necessity for them. In the other words, some basic demand will be guaranteed such as paying for food, electricity, water, and the worker’s hobby. If people lose the abilities to satisfy their own needs by themselves, they will become the family’s pressures. For instances, Vincent Van Gogh just sold only one panting in his all life, so he had to depend on his brother’s money to buy colors and maintain the others activities.

However, in spite of the role of income, choices of profession should be decided by contentment. This career creates positive influences on people’s emotion by its features and workplaces. It means workers find the deep and meaningful happiness, passion, and willingness in completing the missions. Not only do these feelings produce the high-quality life, they also let employees achieve success easily. For example, some volunteers working for charities or non-monetary organizations do feel hopeful for their future because of their job.

In conclusion, the decision to choose a career should be equally depended on many different reasons to make sure that people will feel satisfied with their choice.

Nowadays, most people usually prefer working for a job whose payment is high. I believe that money is one of the most essential consideration when it comes to selecting a job.

Having said that, I totally agree with the idea that the working environment is as crucial as the salary. On the ground that your surroundings are far more important if you want to develop your working skill as you might assimilate from the experienced workers. Another point to make is that if you meet kind employees, the higher of your happiness at working will be and the result is that you will work harder for the company. If people select their job by looking at the profit they will get, it will be uncertain that if they are suitable for the occupation.Gradually, even if the salary meets their basic needs, they will be indifferent to their current profession as they wont have any motivation for the work.

Nevertheless, money does play a vital role in everybody’s life simply because everyone needs money and the more you make the easier your life will be,for instance, we all have to pay for education, medication, food,… and having a stable finance security will not only maintain your life but you could also give a hand to your relatives who are in debt. However I can relatively sympathize with people who chase their dream job but can not make enough amount of money to pay for numerous fees to maintain their families’ life.

In conclusion, while other factors are as crucial as salary when it comes to selecting a profession, I undoubtedly believe that salary outweighs all other sectors’ merits.

It is said that a high-income job would be considered as the main criterion to apply for work. While passion for work is generally necessary for an effective job, I believe that higher-income work has more possibility to be an integral part of a job.

In general, working for a high-income job can have a high chance of leading to depression and a state of boredom when it comes to long-term jobs. The lack of passion results in a decreased ability to concentrate and work efficiently. Furthermore, a higher-income job comes with the requirement of better responsibility which would lead to pressure in working.

Despite that, people nowadays are likely to choose a high-income job as the result of getting a better social status and daily necessities. Undoubtedly, higher-income jobs come with the chance of higher social status. Money can afford better respect in a relationship because of the noticeable changes in the human mind. For example, the way that wealthy people get more respect, and the ability to access more social benefits. However, the most important reason that decides people's job criteria is personal expenses and daily necessities. High-income jobs allow people to spend money more freely and give a satisfactory feeling of not worrying about prices. Food, electricity, and monthly tuition, …all cost a huge amount of money which means a smaller amount for personal expenses. A higher income will access the ability to deal with these.

To sum up, a higher amount of money takes the lead in people's requirements when applying for a job despite the lack of efficiency.

Many people decide their career path based on the size of income they are offered. From my personal perspective, I disagree with the idea of salary is the only key aspect to consider when choosing a job because I believe that there are many factors that are also considerable.

On the one hand, people's choice of career is based on the money they could earn because of many reasons. One of them is that money provides people their basic need for their life such as housing, food, healthcare and so on. Most people have a belief that a job that provides them the salary they need to afford their basic needs is worth-choosing. Another reason is that people partially judge others by looking at the properties that they possess such as clothes, accessories, electronic devices and vehicles. If they own fancy clothes from an expensive brand or the latest watch, people usually will have a respectful manner towards them

Nevertheless, I believe that money is not the only consideration when choosing a career path. There are others factors that should be thought of when people are making the decision of their career path. One of them is that how people feel about the job. In particular, having an interest in the profession they are following will grant encouragement to themselves and therefore, it will help them to have a positive manner when working. Futhermore, this will lead to a more efficient performance that may lead to promotion in the job. Another factor that should be considered is the working atmosphere. Having a job that provides lucrative income but requires them to work in a stressful atmosphere at work may lead to many consequences. One of that is that they may encounter mental illness such as depression. However, having a good manager or friendly colleagues can boost their performance at work.

To conclude, money is indubitably an aspect that affect people's choice of profession. However, I believe that others factors that should be considered alongside with salary when people are choosing a job.

Choosing career always being a most essential and difficult part of our life. Prefering high income or job satisfaction has been an argument for a long time. Personally, while there are ideas that money is the key consideration when deciding on career, i still partly agree with other factors are equally important.

On the one hand, Job with high salary can bring a huge economic source to people in order to meet their basic needs. For example, costs such as food, housing , bills, healthcare can be a serious problem for those choosing their career by satisfaction. While high income will allow people to cover these needs and improve quality of life. What is more, a high salary job can help enhance their social position, earn respect from family, relationship. A high-earners will get positive look from everyone because of their jobs, which bring to them a great confidence and satisfying

On the other hand, I also believe that other consideration are just as important as what we earn in our jobs. Firstly, people choosing career path that they love could reach a high level of happiness, make them feel sense of achievement. Those are more valuable than money for them. Secondly, oppotunities for personal growth and career advancement play a significant role in job selection. A job that allow an individual and encourage skill development can help people rewading more.

In conclusion, while high income can help people pay their costs and play a significant role in choosing career. However it should not be the sole criterion. Job satisfaction and chance for developing individual and skill can also be an important factor

In the pursuit of a career or job, the allure of a high income holds substantial appeal. Undoubtedly, financial stability is a fundamental aspect, providing a sense of security and enabling various lifestyle choices. However, elevating income as the primary consideration neglects the multifaceted aspects that contribute to a fulfilling career.

While financial remuneration is crucial, it represents just one facet of career satisfaction. Job satisfaction stems from a diverse array of factors, including but not limited to work-life balance, a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and alignment with personal values. Ignoring these elements in favor of a high income might lead to disillusionment and dissatisfaction in the long run.

Furthermore, the pursuit of a fulfilling career encompasses intrinsic motivations beyond monetary rewards. Passion, purpose, and the alignment of one's work with personal values significantly contribute to a sense of fulfillment. Many individuals find immense satisfaction in careers that may not offer the highest financial compensation but resonate deeply with their interests and values.

It's essential to acknowledge that societal perceptions often prioritize financial success, but true contentment in a career arises from a harmonious blend of financial stability and personal fulfillment. A well-rounded approach considers not only the financial aspect but also the emotional and psychological facets of a job. Pursuing a career solely for financial gain may result in unfulfilled aspirations and a lack of genuine satisfaction.

In essence, while a high income is undeniably appealing, it shouldn't overshadow the multifaceted aspects contributing to career contentment. Striking a balance between financial stability and personal fulfillment ensures a more holistic and gratifying professional journey, where individuals can find meaning, purpose, and enduring satisfaction in their chosen careers.

Many individuals express that the amount of money they earn should be prioritized over other considerations when finding an occupation. From my point of view, I agree that the financial rewards are crucial, but I am convinced that some considerations are also essential. In this essay, I will give the reasons and prove it with facts.

It is obvious that money is one of the most important things in order to sustain life. First of all, support for basic necessities such as food, electricity, and water is dependent on money. Their demand for public healthcare is temporarily growing, and the inhabitants should pay for healthcare provision on their own. If their salary is not enough to meet the social standard, they will face a huge range of difficulties and struggle to survive. Secondly, finance is able to show humans' value in society. It may be a big discrimination between inhabitants whose jobs are profitable and unprofitable. Because of the salary, we might be ranked at neither high nor low levels in the community, and we might be observed to receive either more or less respect from other people as well. Therefore, choosing a high-income occupation can help habitants reach a better life.

Nevertheless, choosing a life-long career also needs other considerations, not just earning. Strongly understanding ourselves should be paid attention. Every single person is needed to figure out strong and negative points by themselves for searching for a suitable job and associating with one career for the rest of their lives. Additionally, the preference for the occupation is as important as the previous consideration. There is no doubt that challenges will be set up while we are at work, and it requires us to work harder to overcome the obstacles. We can easily give up due to the pressure it takes, but once people enjoy their jobs and clearly identify the aim to achieve, it can create motivation for developing themselves, enthusiasm for contributing to work, as well as defeating challenges.

In conclusion, whilst our jobs are considered high income, it could be depended on their understanding and their own interests for those reasons.

The illustrated flow chart delves into the workforce distribution across five pivotal sectors in the UK during the years 1841 and 2011. Notably, the service industry emerges as the predominant force, commanding the highest percentage in both years. This surge is particularly noteworthy, catapulting from 33% in 1841 to an astonishing 80% in 2011.

A compelling trend reveals itself as the manufacturing sector, once a prominent player at 36% in 1841, undergoes a substantial decline to a mere 9% in 2011. In contrast, the energy and water industries show minimal workforce involvement, standing at 1% and 3% in 2011, with even lower figures of 1% and 2% in 1841.

Of particular interest is the widening gap between manufacturing and services. While they were relatively close in 1841, this gap expanded to a substantial 70% difference in 2011. This shift highlights a fundamental transformation in the employment landscape over the years.

In summary, the workforce distribution in the UK witnessed a remarkable transformation, prominently marked by the ascendancy of the service industry and the decline of manufacturing. The energy and water sectors, though marginal, experienced slight growth. It is crucial to note that in 1841, only construction at 5% and energy and water at 3% fell below the 10% mark, whereas in 2011, the majority of sectors exceeded this threshold, indicating a significant shift in employment dynamics. This nuanced shift adds complexity to the narrative of the transformative changes in the UK's workforce distribution over the highlighted years, emphasizing the multifaceted nature of employment dynamics during the periods of 1841 and 2011.

In today’s fast-paced world, technology is being developed and is tending to be deepened in the future. Therefore, our reliance on computer-based technology is reaching greater level in our lives day by day. This phenomenon may not only lead to positive development but also have a strong negative effect. In this essay, I will discuss how the changes might be related and delve into how they are advantageous and detrimental.

Foreseeing the future, it is undeniable that a larger number of individuals will pay attention to technology, particularly computer-based careers, on account of its multi-functional ability. AI, or some machines that are created thanks to technology, can help humans solve such tough problems as its functions, which have already been set up. Take the household robot as an example; this product shows its helpful operation in houses with a range of busy members, dealing with housewives’ work, and keeping their house clean. Furthermore, technological machines will be able to replace people for numerous difficult tasks, such as cleaning buildings’ glass or waste and recycling collectors. Many critics express that technological inventions are playing an important role in our lives and will continue to do so in the future; thus, it is necessary to concentrate on technology.

It seems to have cons for those services, whether relying on them in an acceptable way. Nevertheless, there would be on the downside if we relied on it excessively. Indeed, humans might find it hard to think actively due to a shortage of creativity; for example, AI can help our imagination come out by realizing our thinking just based on our word descriptions. Not only that, overreliance on computers may make teenagers isolate themselves from society; they may not intend to communicate with anyone. A lack of exercise and staying healthy might be a problem as well. Living in their own rooms, including darkness around, they could have some mental health issues, like depression or anxiety disorders. Moreover, their lenses can be affected too. It is factual that the percentage of teenagers needing glasses because of their visual trouble is higher nowadays.

In conclusion, technology is only beneficial to us once we are dependent on it efficiently. On the other hand, individuals are usually addicted too much to computers, and it is expected to continue to grow in this technology-driven future. As a result, this phenomenon leads to a range of mental health problems.

In today's current world, humans have relied tremendously on computer-based technology. With this topic, two questions sparks up: How will the future be affected by this dependence on technology, and does this reliance have a positive outcome? In this essay, we will look at the potential path the future might take with our increasing dependent on computer-based technology.

With the knowledge of people today still relying heavily on computer-based technology, it is apparent to say that our reliance in the future will also deepen. We can envision a society in the future where even the lightest and simplest of work like taking out the trash or sweeping the floor won't be completed with the help from technologies. But this could also implies to technically work for many industries, replacing people with a machine that is more intelligent and makes less mistakes.

However, an advanced technological world may not be ideal.

In today modern world, computer-based has been developed magnificently. As a result, we are depending on technology more and more due to the variety range of the technologies. From my perspective, this tendency is extremely beneficial for us, but we always need to be cautious about it regarding our brain skills. These points will be reviewed in the scope of this essay.

First of all, with the rise of computer-based technology, it is obvious that they play a crucial part and continue to enhance the quality of our lives. Basically, we are able to work less and spend more quality time with our families. For instance, lots of people had worked from home during the pandemic, which allowed them to spend more time with their family members. Furthermore, it is important to note that people will have the option to pass all mundane jobs to machines and do only what they are keen on.

On the other hands, we must keep in mind that these computer-based technology will also caused detrimental impact on our lives. First and foremost, human beings will be replaced by this machine leading to the increase in the unemployment which is intrinsically tied to the rate of the crime within the nation. Furthermore, the absence of physical presence of teachers in the classroom can raise the problems of discipline within the students. In other words, social development of these pupils will be harmed and thereby, will cause a hindrance in the nation's social growth.

From above, it can be seen that computers will be used for various activities at home as well as at educational institutions in the future. But, excessive utilization of this machine can boost the issues related to job causing rise in the crime and afflict the young people's development. It is thus hoped that people will be made aware of the harmfulness of relying too much on computers.

In the modern world, technology has become a requirement of human and it is believed that we are coming to be intensely dependent on computer-based technology. This reality has lead to two questions: How will the future be affected and is it a good idea for people to rely so much on computers. In this essay, I will discuss about the way technology will change human lives and my reliance on this tool.

As can be foreseen, it is clear that mankind dependency on computer-based will continue to grow deeper. As human become more lazy, we will use technology to complete our tasks even with the smallest one. For example, daily activities in the future will require technology like using robots to vacuum the house instead of doing it by human. Furthermore, more factories will using robots as a worker, automatic systems and less human are working as machines are more efficient and less absences than people needed in holidays.

It is clear that dependency on computer-based technology can cause many negative results. It will lead to biologically harm like some physical health problems especially obesity, weakness. Since robots tend to do most of human daily chores, people will become lazy and inactive, and progressively lead into worldwide obesity.Furthermore, as there are less human worker, many people are unemployed and there might be more homelessness, computer-based technology can seizes the world and people are no longer be freedom.

In conclusion, technology will make a lot of differences in human lives in the future especially with daily activities and working systems. Personally, I strongly against people’s dependency on computer-based technology to avoid getting biologically harm and can self-control our world.

In the present day, society’s dependence on computer-based technology has risen unprecedentedly. Two significant sides need to be answered: How can this situation happen in the following period, and will it bring any advantage to people? In this essay, I will inform the predictions and contemplate the downsides of our reliance on computer-based technology.

In the future, it is clear that our demands for using computer-based technology might reach a high level. First and foremost, because technical devices have been modernized consistently, they can complete a large number of complicated tasks that are impossible with humans. Therefore, technology has been becoming an essential part of social operation.

However, because it may hold a crucial role in our lives, we can be affected terribly and unpredictably. Reliance on computers leads to damaging our physical health due to not exercising regularly, and continuing to use eyes for a long time. Furthermore, mental health also might tend to be destroyed because the light coming from the devices releases the harmful substances creating sleep disorders. Not only will the dependence on technology lead to the reduction of health’s quality, it also makes people lack creativity. In other words, humans have computers come up with new ideas instead of creating by themselves so they may be unable to think independently if this situation has continued for a long time.

In conclusion, it is apparent that computer-based technology is developing significantly in the next period and becoming a main part of human lives. Despite the fact that they are going to be cutting-edge and provide advantages to society, the dependence on them will release a large number of negative effects. I suggest that we should balance the frequency of appearances of technology in our activities to protect the quality of our lives.

In today's modern world, our dependence on computer-based technology has increased to a unrivaled level. As we look ahead, two questions arise: How will this reliance develop in the future, and is it advantageous for humans to rely on computer? In this essay, I will predict how this reliance will evolve and also make my opinion on what downsides will come when we depend on computer.

Forseeing the future, our dependency on technology will continue to deepen as time flow by. With each passing day, computer and such devices are being upgraded in order to have more functions to serve humanity. This will lead to more usage of these devices in the future because of their convenience. Moreover, despite being able to complete their daily tasks such as cooking, shopping and so on as an instinct, people will rely on technology to do these tasks. In term of the economy, many industries may soon witness a revolution of automation, potentially depleting the demand for human labor in many aspects.

However, as we proceed to the future, our reliance on computer will bring many drawbacks to us. Over-reliance on computer may ruin human's creativity and critical thinking abilities. For example, if we use computer in our activities such as creating art or solving calculative problems, we will not use our skills and therefore kill them. Moreover,

The pie charts illustrate the initial platforms that Germans and Nigerians consult to obtain news over the course of a typical week, encompassing a variety of five separate media sources: TV, newspaper, radio, Internet and other sources/friends and family.

Overall, it is obvious that the data presented in the pie charts highlights a distinct contrast in the primary news sources between Germans and Nigerians, with television and newspapers being the predominant mediums in Nigeria and Germany, respectively. Additionally, the charts reveal that radio is twice as popular in Nigeria compared to Germany, underscoring significant differences in media consumption preferences across these populations within a standard week.

In analyzing the first body, we delve deeper into the prominent roles played by television and newspapers as primary news sources in Nigeria and Germany, respectively. The pie charts unmistakably illustrate that television holds sway as the preferred medium for accessing news in Nigeria, commanding the attention of a significant majority of the urban population. Conversely, in Germany, newspapers emerge as the dominant choice, capturing a substantial portion of the populace's initial engagement with current events. This disparity underscores not only the differing media landscapes between the two countries but also cultural and infrastructural factors influencing news consumption habits.

In terms of the remaining two categories, Internet and other sources, Germany and Nigeria demonstrate divergent preferences. While 11% of Germans opt for the Internet as their primary news source, only 1% of Nigerians do so, indicating a significant contrast. Similarly, other sources, including personal networks like friends and family, play a marginal role in both countries. However, they are slightly more prevalent in Germany, accounting for 4%, compared to just 1% in Nigeria.
