No. I don't think it's the best way to learn practical and social skills. Firstly an introvert wouldn't just go up to be a volunteer. They have to find ways to build up that level of confidence. For instance I wouldn't go up and be a volunteer first hand. If it's an extrovert It would be a good experience as they can improve on the skills.
To build up that level of confidence, I have to first talk and lear with people I'm comfortable with as this would help me socialise with people I don't know and I can share my ideas willingly without being afraid or be stage fright when volunteering

I would love to see the Bengal Tiger! The Bengal Tiger is one of the most largest wild cats on this planet! As massive as they are and with their iconic black, white and bright orange pelt, they still manage to blend into their surroundings and are excellent stalkers in their habitat in India! They are excellent swimmers and stalk they prey from behind to get the advantage. These Bengal Tigers however are being endangered due to poaching and loss of habitat. That is why I would like to see them safe in Singapore to hopefully repopulate their numbers to preserve the real kings of the jungle!

I think that volunteering is the best way for young people learn practical and social skill as volunteering, students develop life skills and become well-rounded individuals. Starting young provides an opportunity for students to learn and grow into valuable members of society. They develop life skills as they get immersed in activities that are outside of their comfort zones.Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills and try new things in a relatively risk-free environment.

I think that the children are excited and at the same time also scared. You will not be able to see the animal in the wild in singapore and they might have not seen this animal up close before. They seem to be at a zoo and the children looks like they are lower primary school students. I think that they might be scared because the animal looks intimidating, it has sharp fins and a long tail with black stripes.

I would love to see wolves. Wolves are like big dogs, they tend to be gray and white in colour. Most of them are found in forests. I once came across a video on YouTube about a zoo in America where the audience were able to sit down and watch different types of wolves up close. The zoo keepers would bring the wolves up close and the audience could feed them and even pet them. Of course for safety the canines were put on leashes. As i have never seen a wolf before in a zoo so I would choose to see it. I really want to see this as I really love wolves as I find them such cool creatures and I really like their colour scheme. I would definitely want to meet one up close and pet it. I believe if the zoo allowed for this it will not only broaden my knowledge for the different breeds for canines but also increase my love and interest for these animals.

If I visited the zoo or safari, there are a few animals I would like to see. One of them is a giraffe, I always find it so intriguing to see the giraffe as they are very tall and long. I had once went to the zoo in Bali, I saw many animals but thought that the giraffe was the most interesting one. I wondered how their neck was so long. I also had the opportunity to feed it as well. It was kind of a scary but cool experience.Honestly it reminds me of my brother as not only is he tall, his neck is kind of like a giraffe. Also the giraffe is also one of favourite animals that I like a lot.

I feel that volunteering is the best way for teenagers to learn practical and social skills.
This is because im a very hands on kind of guy so when it comes to hands on activities i will give my 100% and probably learn better through hands on activities like volunteering. By volunteering it will give teenagers the experience of a working adult and they can better prepare their future job through volunteering. For me personally I volunteered at a few jobs already and it gives me the confident and motivation to work harder and it give me a rough idea of how my working adult life i s going to be. It helps me to interact with strangers as well. It will boost my moral and my confidence to talk to strangers. In the future i can speak up confidently

Personally, I love animals. I would like to see the red pandas and raccoons in the safari park or the zoo as they are my favourite animals. However , Zoos in Singapore does not have any racoons or maybe I haven’t seen one as it’s been long since I went to the Zoo with either my family or friends. When I was younger, my parents will always bring me to the Zoo every school hoildays as to me it is a fun place to hang out and bond with my parents while we took pictures of ourselves with the animals. I have not been to as safari park as I do not know a place that the safari place is located, therefore, I have no idea what does a safari park look like or what do they have inside . If I have the chance to find where the safari is located, I will definitely vist it as there may have animals that I would like to see that the Singapore Zoo does not have .

I do think that volunteering is the best way for young people to learn practical and social skills. From my personal experience volunteering at an event in the school my mother works at, the experience is much different and the type of people you meet is different as well. You have to learn how to adapt to the environment as well as try your best to communicate with other people. I remember being so shy whenever I was volunteering at the place. The people that I had to work with were unfamiliar with me and vice versa, it took me awhile to be confident to speak up to them. So in my case, I think that volunteering is the most effective way to learn practical skills as well as social skills.

The kind of animals I would like to see in Singapore zoo would be marine animals. To be more specific, I would be ecstatic to meet some dolphins! Personally, I admire mammals that live underwater, such as dolphins and whales. It is said that dolphins are smart animals. I think it is fascinating! I have watched Youtube videos on zookeepers and dolphins. Their interaction with their tamers are adorable and the tricks they can do are straight up amazing. Unlike most students, I actually have not gone to a dolphin performance. I am in awe whenever I listen to my friends share their experiences with dolphins and their descriptions of how the performance was played out. I think this has made me want to visit the zoo, solely to meet some of these adorably intelligent creatures.

This is because volunteering gives us the opportunity to practice and develop our social skills. For example, volunteering to help the community, such as helping the elderly at a folks home, allows them to go outside of their comfort zones and communicate with one another, this will in turn develop their social skills and allows them to gain the confidence to talk more. To add on, the people we are helping to volunteer may teach us valuable life lessons or experiences, they may also teach us practical skills such as sewing and knitting.
