Most people believe this is where he incited violence, but there is no evidence of him speaking of the violence that was about to occur. However his angry tone and his instruction to his supporters telling them to fight, is possibly the number one cause of the insurrection which occurred on January 6th, 2021. . The happening story is that at the time, President Trump only stated "We’re going to walk down to the Capitol" and to fight for the country's political fairness. “ This was in response to the 2020 election that led many republicans to be skeptical of the election’s fairness in comparison to past elections like in 2016, 2012, and 2008.

He was upset but according to multiple sources he didn't directly start violence, as all he said was for them to "walk towards the capital and to fight for their country".
