1.  How can we narrrow down our initiatives to those we do really well, or are at the top of our priority list?  I feel like teachers are feeling pulled in so many directions.
2.  Professional development is needed before we initiate something.  I feel like we are trying to professionally develop and start the program at the same time.
3.  We need to protect and include our support staff more.  They are pulled in thousands of directions and don't feel/know what we are talking about in these types of meetings.  They also should have the opportunity to attend courses like AVID and NGSS.

Change is inevitable. However, one big difference is the talk that happens, the listening, the sense of being valued as the transition occurs. Right now, the "changes" are top down, whether it's from state, district, or admin. The teachers just have to change and we have to like it. I see that teachers are being overwhelmed and frustrated and the passion/ enthusiasm for our job seems to be diminished due to all the demands placed on us.
