This is an example that speaks to several of the topics orbiting us in this conversation.  Materials: Polytab Painted Mosaic on Aluminum Panel.  Method:  192 individually painted Polytab tiles.  Each tile was assigned a color pallet.  Each tile was an opportunity for individuals to be creative around the theme.  Social Distance was observed throughout.  Concept: The central theme was developed with a group discussion that included agencies and individuals directly impacted by immigration issues.

Unity is being together or at one with someone or something. It's the opposite of being divided. This is a word for togetherness or oneness. When the north won the Civil War, it assured the unity of the United States.

Community 
A common definition of community emerged as a group of people with diverse characteristics who are linked by social ties, share common perspectives, and engage in joint action in geographical locations or settings.

Thoughts:
- I keep seeing the background (behind the letters) as student self portraits.  Or paintings of their homes or maybe both. 
-I see the word “Community” reflecting the color of our natural environment and the seasons.
