It's a blog (labeled free articles) that is run by more than one person. Although this blog has multiple writers, it still has it's personal, informal feel thanks to Steve Kamb's understanding of what made him a successful blogger (and then bestselling author) in the first place -- personal stories and a fun, inspirational feel.

This is an example of a classic blog written and run by a single blogger. This is one of my favorite blogs. I have been following Deb for years. I have watched her grow this from a once-a-month blog with some writing errors and formatting glitches into the blog of a now best-selling cookbook author. 

A blog, on the other hand, is a type of website, or a section of a website, built around regular updates—typically posts arranged in reverse chronological order (newest first). It usually features comments, categories, tags and aims for ongoing two-way engagement (by allowing for comments.) Blogs are a type of social media and websites are not.
