I chose Yin and Yang because it represents my Chinese culture and also reflects my values. The delete sign was chosen because I am prone to get rid of things before I finish them. The Scorpio was because I am a Scorpio. For the Pluto sign, my sister talks a lot about it, so it connects to my family. The first symbol I chose was the Ankh. It is known the ancient Egyptian Key of Life. I chose the colors orange and red to show the fierceness and passion that I attack things in life with. The second symbol was the great pyramids of Egypt in the background. These resemble my belief that all the great triumphs are built by small accomplishment.  The third symbol the blue circle inside the Ankh. It resembles how all things connect because it is the same color. as the outside showing that they connect without touching. I chose to put an emphasis on the red, orange, and blue colors for the spiral because they are the colors of the Armenian flag (and relate to the spiral itself which is the Armenian eternity symbol). Each symbol represents a different aspect of me. The wings represent my connection to Christianity, while the Armenian eternity symbol connects me to my Armenian heritage (which is at the heart of who I am which is why it is in the center of the entire painting). The two dots in the background was taken from the sign of family. I chose bright colors on a dark background because I wanted to show the contrast. It's actually a symbol for love, faithfulness, and harmony. Inside of that, I decided to put different aspects of my life in symbols. This includes the French flag as a tribute to my family and all my memories in France. It also features different parts of the drawing that was made for me. The Christmas tree because I love listening to Christmas music, the bright yellow stars because I love the color yellow, and the moon (or a circle) because that is the shape I would be. I chose this symbol because the Eye of Horus symbolizes power and royalty, and the red and blue yin and yang shows power and peace that is combine that with the outline of the Greek symbol of wisdom. Additionally, I chose the color purple to show royalty and the red orange background to show a setting or rising sun, symbolizing the future and past.
