When you are traveling in the rain, the temperature change affects what state of matter the rain is in.&nbsp;<br><br>Today, you get to make a snowman and will observe the changes every two hours.&nbsp;<br><br>Using a stapler, water bottle, and air filled balloon I am going to demonstrate the states of matter.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Prior to the lesson, I have filled 3 balloons with water and froze them. We are going to cut the balloons off and stack the vertically to represent a snowman. "How will the snowman change as time passes today?"&nbsp;<br><br>Class, look at my water bottle. Because the bottle is colder than the air in our classroom, condensation has formed. The gas in the air changes to a liquid when the warm air touches the cold bottle.&nbsp;<br><br>When you put water in an tray and place it into the freezer, it makes ice because the liquid changes into a solid. When you put ice in your water bottle and it melts, that is a solid changing into a liquid. When the warm air in our classroom touches the outside of the cold bottle and creates condensation, that is gas changing into a liquid. When you boil water to make macaroni and cheese, the liquid changes into a gas when it reaches a certain temperature.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
