    The biogeochemical properties of the southern Adriatic bottom waters were measured during the first leg of the cruise carried out by the
    Italian R/V Minerva Uno (ODW 2012, March 24–April 2, 2012). The sampling strategy was based on the previous knowledge of the dense water
    cascading process in the area (Turchetto et al., 2007; Rubino et al.,

  • NCEI files:
    • Following GLODAP procedures, CARIMED cruises will only include a csv file including original data and metadata, and the cruise report if available. Therefore the MATLAB and README files won't be included in NCEI.
    • Check that metadata in NCEI and csv coincide (files contained here). Also check that the csv file stored in NCEI is the latest version. To be done by cruise PIs (Marta has sent them an email about this).
    • Do not update parameter headers following Jiang et al. (2022).
  • New cruise submission: Deadline for new submissions by the end of Feb.
  • OCADS website: To be created by Alex in Feb (tentative timing).
  • Ask for a tab in Glodap.info for CARIMED.
  • CARIMED's 2QC:
    • Do not use CANYON-MED or ESPER as 2QC tools since they are trained with unadjusted data.
    • Set 3 consecutive meetings to discuss 2QC results:
      • 1st: Nico, Antón, Marta, and Maribel around mid-Feb.
      • 2nd: Nico, Antón, Marta, Alex, Toste and Maribel to discuss 2QC results (around March).
      • 3rd: Meeting with the PIs to explain 2QC adjustments.
