Map Point 1: Killing the Beast

Edward saves a girl's life and relieves the town from a ferocious rabid dog. He was the only one who had the courage and willingness to face this devil creature.

Edward Bloom saved his son William from getting killed and getting severely injured. The first time he pulled his son out of a ditch just in the nick of time when a rushing river came out of nowhere and could have swallowed William whole. The other time was when William swung too hard on a swing and the swing set broke off the ground. William was flying towards a picket fence when Edward came out of nowhere and jumped up, catching William in mid-air, and landing safely on the ground. This shows extreme bravery and love for his family

Edward Bloom helped a helpless old lady to get her fake eye back from idiot teenagers. They use the eye as an initiation into their club, which is pretty retarded. However, everyone in town knew about the eye, and Edward Bloom was the only one who cared for this poor lady and showed kindness and compassion by formulating a successful plan to get the eye back to her
