It’s right after Cam tells about scary adventures she’s had in the past and afterwards, she says, “So scary? Yeah, scary and I go way back.” I think the author chose for Cam to say this is because it shows what type of character she is. It was a trap.” This was meaningful to me as I thought it was important how the other girls realized that Mr. Solomen is part of the Circle. I also like the way how the author explains this not just saying it out loud. I think that Cammie is paranoid and thinks that she should stay at Gallagher Academy no matter what. The Circle is coming after her and she is scared.
