(1) Facts

From my classmates' writings, I learned about various unique pets: Fredy has an axolotl named Wooper, who can regenerate body parts and requires specific care. Rocky owns a turtle named Rock, which needs daily tank cleaning. Carson discusses a raccoon named Stealer, highlighting its playful yet mischievous nature, and Emily Fan describes an octopus named Toto, emphasizing its intelligence and the responsibility of its care.

(2) Feelings

Reading about these pets evoked a mix of admiration and concern. I was fascinated by the unique traits of each animal, especially the axolotl's regenerative abilities and the octopus's color-changing skill. At the same time, I felt the weight of the responsibilities involved in caring for such pets, which might deter some potential owners.

(3) Findings

The writings reinforced the idea that pet ownership requires commitment and understanding of the animal's specific needs. I learned new vocabulary, such as “leucistic” and “regeneration,” and recognized the joy and challenges that come with caring for different pets.

(4) Future

I plan to use these insights to enhance my own writing about pets, focusing on the balance between the joys and responsibilities of pet ownership. Additionally, I want to encourage responsible pet care by sharing the unique characteristics of various animals, drawing from my classmates' experiences.

（1）Fact

From what my classmates wrote, I found out about many fun animals—each has its own special personality! Rocky has a turtle called Rock. This little turtle smells a bit bad, and it only crawls around when no one is looking. Carson’s raccoon is named Stealer. It lives up to its name because it loves to take things. Colin’s naughty monkey, Monkey King, was very brave before Colin met it—it even “fought monsters and people”! Fanfan’s panda, Melody, is super cool. It can beat Fanfan when they play catch.

（2）Feeling

Reading these stories made me think: nature is really amazing! I wish I could have all these animals, especially Melody. I often daydream about playing catch with that smart panda. But I also know looking after it would be hard work.

（3）Finding

These writings also taught me fun things. For example, raccoons like to steal things naturally. And pandas aren’t just cute—they can play games and jump much higher than I thought!

（4）Future

Later, I want to learn from my classmates’ writings about how to take care of pets. If I get a pet someday, I’ll try different and better ways to look after it.

(1)Facts

From my classmates writings, I learned many things about their pets:

Elsie has a penguin its name is Snowbell. She has grey feathers and a small orange beak. she smells like frozen hayseeds. Colin has a monkey named Monkey king. He is part human part monkey. It looks like a monkey with human habits. Emily Fan has an octopus named Toto. It can change colors. He shows amazing shades of red, purple, and blue. Emily Choi has a cat named Mimi. She is very playful and curious. She has fluffy fur that is orange, white, and black.

(2)Feelings

After learning my classmates pets, it made me very curious about how these animals live., especially Elsie’s penguin and Collins monkey. Because Shenzhen is usually very hot and people usually live in apartment buildings. I feel that it’s very hard to keep penguin in cold temperature all the time and also keep the monkey from making noises. So Elsie and Colin must have spent a lot of energy keeping their pets living in a human friendly environment.

(3)Findings

After learning about my classmate’s pets, I find that being a pet owner requires a lot of responsibilities and also knowledge about the pets. I also find that my classmates Such as Elsie and Colin have very good imagination. I also learned new words such as hayseeds, waddle, slippery, adorable. I feel very excited and looking forward to meeting and playing with their pets in the future.

(4)Future

After learning all the information about my classmates’ writings about their pets, I plan to use the new words I’ve learned to improve my writings. I also learned that having a pet takes a lot of responsibilities and energy. Not only you have to spend time caring for them, You also need to create a good environment for them, and know all of their special needs. Being a pet owner is like a mom or dad, I will try to take better care of my own pet in the future.

4-Fs Reflection on Classmates' Writing

(1) Facts

From my classmates' writings, I learned about many fascinating pets: Elsie has a penguin named Snowbell with soft silvery grey feathers. It can’t live in warm places, so it needs a constantly icy environment, just like its hometown in the cold South Pole. Vivian’s cat Lucy has fluffy black and white fur and big round eyes, and it’s so smart that it can “high-five” with its paw when Vivian calls its name. Rachel’s cat Crystal is a tiny brown kitten with a sweet flowery smell on its fur; it loves chasing toy rats around the house, but sometimes forgets to use the litter box. Ethan Zhou’s cat Tom has sleek sky blue fur and bright black and brown eyes, and once it mistook a small water spider for a fish and tried to catch it with its paw.

(2) Feelings

Reading these stories made me feel excited and warm inside. I thought Lucy’s “high-five” trick was super cool, and Tom’s silly mistake made me laugh out loud. Crystal’s soft fur and Snowbell’s cute waddle also made me want to see them in real life. But I also felt that taking care of them isn’t easy, like keeping Snowbell’s home icy or cleaning up after Crystal’s little accidents. It let me know how much love and patience my classmates put into their pets.

(3) Findings

These writings taught me that every pet has its own special needs and habits.Snowbell needs a cold place to stay healthy, Lucy loves playing interactive games, Crystal needs to learn the litter box rules, and Tom is curious about small things. I also found out that pets aren’t just pets.they are like little friends who bring fun and joy, but they also need us to take responsibility, such as feeding them on time or fixing their living spaces.

(4) Future

I plan to use these ideas to write about pets too, telling others about Lucy’s smart tricks, Snowbell’s icy home, and other fun details. I want to let more people know that pets are lovely companions, but we must always be ready to give them the care and love they need!

(1) Facts

Anna has a hamster named Coco who has two small ears and two big eyes. Its smell is not very good, it’s only 12 centimeters long, it’s cute and gentle. Its hobby is sleeping. Its favorite activity is to gnaw on the tennis ball when it is awake.

(2) Feelings

From Anna’s introduction, I learnt that she needs to feed the pet every day, play with it, clean its cage even though it’s a little bit smelly. Pets are our friends, we should spend time with them, play with them, take good care of them.

(3) Findings

From those writing, I learnt that pets need our attention, we should accompany with pets. It’s important for the owner to learn about their characteristics and needs before they keep the pets. I also learnt some new words, such as “responsibility”, “beige” and “gnaw”.

(4) Future

In the future, I will keep my pet gentle, spend more time with them and feed them at the right time. What’s more, I will also take the responsibility while keeping the pets.

(1) Facts

Collin has a special pet, which is a Monkey King. The most interesting thing about his pet is that the Monkey King is born in a rock. Collin said the Monkey King killed monsters and people before he met him. The Monkey King is powerful but he is afraid of the Golden Headband. What shocked me is that the Monkey King can speak human language, we can even communicate with him!

(2) Feelings

Unlike the normal pets, the Monkey King can take care of himself in his own. I marvel at the unique characteristics of the Monkey King. From Collin’s introduction, I found that these special pets can bring us a lot of joy!

(3) Findings

From the writing of Collin, I learnt that some pets like the Monkey King don’t need people to feed them every day, instead, they can find food by themselves! So, what we can do is to respect the different characteristics of different animals.

(4) Future

In the future, I also want to have a special Monkey King to be my pet. I can play with him and maybe he can teach me some powerful skills. And maybe I can beat the monsters like him in the future!

Reflection on my classmates’ writings

1: Facts

From Catherine’s writing told me all about her amazing pet, Clara the cheetah. She can run fast with top speed lasting for 20-60 seconds and that’s so cool! Catherine also wrote about how she enjoyed her cheetah-rides. I think she feels really energetic on the back of a cheetah! I also love Emily Fan’s writing. She wrote about her mischievous little octopus Toto. She drew a cute picture of her pet with a bobbling mouth and tentacles. She said keeping Toto might be a hard job, but she loves doing so.

2: Feelings:

Our pets may not be normal, like cool cobras or happy hamsters. I really like Catherine’s writing because it was about how happy she is riding a cheetah and how energetic and super she feels. I think she even part-convinced me of getting a cheetah! I think Clara helps Catherine with problems. She sure has a good time with Clara!

3: findings: I think getting a cheetah is not normal, and I found that she has her own piece of mind that convinced us to get a cheetah. Clara is special, and so is she. I love your pet, Catherine.

4: Future:

I think I’ll have better control of Snowbell after reading Catherine’s special paragraph. But the thing I really want to say is: I think she has a charming imagination and she really helped me. Thanks, Catherine. I wish in the future I can sit on Clara and ride with Catherine! I indeed hope so.

Sunny teaches us to sense the feeling from the rabbit's tail. And I learned about cats that can also catch balls from Hazel's writing.

(2) Feelings

Reading about these amazing pets that my classmates write about, I think all the classmates are doing good, especially Fredy and Elsie. I think that their writings' content was full of amazing facts, and I think they have used a lot of amazing experts' words that I don't know in my vocabulary lists. I think that although some of my classmates didn't have a pet, they did use their amazing imagination. They imagine about how it would be to be with a pet. Some students even write pets that didn't exist in the world. Reading the writing let me feel that I already had the pet I was reading about.

(3) Findings

I learn some extremely difficult words from my classmates, such as "camouflage" and "metamorphosis," from Fredy's writing.

(4) Future

I learn that I can analyze things from pros and cons from lots of classmates to get a higher score on the writing exam. And I also learn that, even though a pet isn't a human being, that doesn't mean they are not a part of your family.

(1) Facts:

I learn a lot of new facts about having a pet. Evangeline has a rabbit that looks like a monster, and she named it Cici. It's very colorful. It's a little naughty. Evangeline needs to teach it how to protect itself. Carson's pet is a raccoon named Stealer. It's called Stealer because it likes stealing things. It is gray. It is shy. It used to steal Carson's homework. Frank has a dog named Chocolate. It has white fur. Frank thinks it's the happiest creature in the world. And it can even dance.

(2) Feelings:

After reading my classmate's work, I have many feelings. I think Evangeline's imagination is amazing. I wonder if Cici learned the safety knowledge quickly. Carson's idea is interesting. Who would have a raccoon as a pet? I have the same feeling as Frank because I have a dog too.

(3) Findings:

Originally a dog is going to chase a rabbit, but in Evangeline's writing, her rabbit can chase a dog. From Carson's writing I learned that raccoons like to steal things.

(4) Future:

In the future, I'm going to take care of my own pet, and maybe I will try to raise different kinds of pets.

4-Fs

1. Facts: Reading my classmates' writings introduced me to their one-of-a-kind pets. Fredy keeps an axolotl named Wooper—this fascinating creature can regenerate lost body parts, and Fredy even documented the specific care it requires. Vivienne, on the other hand, has a black-and-white cat called Lucy, whose big, bright eyes are incredibly striking.

2. Feelings: I was truly amazed by what I learned. I had never seen an axolotl before, nor did I know such a creature could regrow its body parts. What surprised me even more was realizing just how much warmth a cat could bring to someone’s life.

3. Findings: Fredy and Vivienne’s words taught me two valuable things. First, axolotls possess an extraordinary ability to regenerate their bodies. Second, cats are wonderful companions that can fill people’s lives with warmth.

4. Future Plans: Inspired by them, I hope to have both a cat and an axolotl someday. Axolotls are utterly adorable, and I look forward to the warmth a cat would bring into my daily life.

Today，after reading my classmates' writing，I felt so suprised that they owend so many kinds of interesting pets！I learned a lot from them！

Fact:

Max has a pet dragon called Toothless. Toothless is very cute, but he is also quite a lot of work! Max has to carry a plastic bag to clean up after Toothless. Elsie’s pet is a penguin named Snowbell. Snowbell needs a very cold environment and saltwater to live. They both have very special pets that require a lot of care.

Fanding：

I imagine that Toothless the dragon can fly very high in the sky and breathe fire, but he is also very playful and likes to cuddle with Max. I think Snowbell the penguin loves sliding on ice and swimming fast in the cold water, just like in a cartoon. Maybe Snowbell and Toothless can meet and become friends, flying around and sliding on ice together!

Feeling:

Reading about classmates’ articles made me feel happy and excited. Toothless sounds like a funny pet because Max has to take care of him, just like a regular pet, but he is a dragon! Snowbell sounds really cool because I love penguins and can imagine her waddling around and swimming in icy water. I think it would be fun to have a pet like that, but it also seems like a lot of responsibility.

Future：

Sometimes, taking care of a pet might mean doing things that aren’t very fun, like cleaning up after them or making sure they have the right food and space. However, I think the happiness of having a pet would be worth the effort. The joy they bring would make all the hard work feel worth it. I would try my best to find a balance between enjoying the fun parts and making sure I’m being responsible, so both me and my pet can be happy.

(1) Facts

In my classmates’ pages I met two very different pets: Vivian’s cat Lucy, soft and polite, gives you a gentle high-five; Colin’s Monkey King, born from a rock, can hop onto clouds and rips his new clothes when he fights make-believe demons before breakfast.

(2) Feelings

Reading Lucy felt like sipping warm cocoa by the window—calm and sweet. Monkey King’s pages shot me into fireworks: I laughed at his peach parties, but I also gulped when I remembered he had knocked down real monsters. Warmth and wonder shared my heart.

(3) Findings

I learned pets can match our quiet or our chaos. Lucy shows that tiny rituals—one purr, one stroke—build trust. Monkey King proves that even mighty heroes need limits (thank you, Golden Headband). A litter box now looks easy next to “mountain prison.”

(4) Future

Next time I write, I’ll mix soft and spectacular—maybe one paragraph of purrs, one somersault-cloud. I also plan to draw a two-panel poster: left side “Gentle Love—Lucy’s Rules,” right side “Epic Power—Handle with Care,” so everyone sees that fun and duty travel together, whether your pet has soft paws or a celestial staff.

4-Fs Reflection on Classmates’ writing

Hello, I am Kimi. Today I will tell you about the four best work in my class. First, it is Catherine's work.It is very interesting to have a cheetah which is the fastest mammal on earth. Secondly, it is Emily Choi. Emily Choi has a special memory with her cat. Once her cat walks on her homework and there are little footprints on her notebook. Third, it is Fredy. He has a very interesting work because he is writing about an Axolotl. It can blend in rocks in the water and it can regrow body parts. The fourth one is Paul. Paul’s elephant has a special memory that can tell him where is home and where he can find food. Facts，Catherine’s cheetah can form from standing to sprint in 3 seconds and it can run to 80 kilometers per hour. Emily Choi’s pet is very playful because her pet cat has walked on her notebook. Fredy's pet has a special fact. His pet can regrow his head. Paul’s pet elephant can know where food is and where home is and that makes me think he can go to an elephant school. I think all of my classmates' work are creatively and interesting. So that is my sharing. Goodbye.

From my classmates writing, I learned about various unique pets. Elsie has a penguin! Her name is Snowball. It waggles slower than a big sea turtle! That was veryfunny. Catherine has a cheetah! Her name is Clara. Ilike her yellow big coat with some spots on it. Paul hasan elephant! And its name is Big. I like his grass smell. Rocky owns a turtle named Rock, which needs daily tank cleaning. It's so cool!

Reading about these pets evoked a mix of admiration and concern. I was amazed by the unique traits of each pet, especially Catherine's pet. The writings reinforced the idea that pet ownership requires commitment and understandingof the animal's specific needs. I learned some new words, such as "allergic" and "includes". I feel very
excited and looking forward to meeting and playing with their pets in the future.

After learning all the information about my classmate's writings about their special pets, I plan to use the new vocabulary to improve my writings.

I also learned that taking care of my pet takes a lot of energy. I want to let more people know that pets are lovely companions, but we must always be ready to give them the care and love they need!

Emily Choi has a pet named Mimi. It always smells fresh and clean. And Anna has a hamster named Coco. It has two small ears and two big eyes.

2.	Feelings

After reading these stories, I feel relaxed and excited. I want my panda to become Mimi’s friend. If they become good friends, Emily Choi and me will have more time to study and do other things together. I also want my panda to make friends with other pets, so that I can also play with my classmates together.

3.	Findings

I find all the pets are very cute. Everyone likes different pets. Every pet is special. We should love our pets and take good care of them. I will take good care of my panda. I love it very much.

4.	Future

I think it must be fun if we all bring our pets to the classroom. Then there will be a lot of different animals in our class. Everyone in our school will be excited too. All students in the school will come to our class to take a look at these animals. Our classroom will become very very noisy. We cannot have English, Chinese or Maths classes, but we can learn a lot about how to take care of all these lovely pets.
